fantastic food

Yesterday I visited for the first time. The staff were so helpful and catered for all food needs.I have lactose intolerance and I had the most enjoyable meal advised by them. I would highly recommend them.

Pros: excellent food for all dietary needs, friendly helpful staff, Nice decor and atmosphere

Cons: the toilets were clean but need updating, I couldnt see any disabled toilets

So nice to have afternoon tea!

As a vegan, it is really, really hard to find a vegan afternoon tea - let alone a good one - if you live outside a major vegan hub like London. So when my wife and I learned about Cafe Royale we immediately made a booking to try it out and it was fantastic. For an establishment that isn’t vegan, doing an afternoon tea of this calibre for a new place is no small feat. 5 different types of finger sandwich (falafel, veggies, mock chicken to name a few), cakes, scones, even a decent cream (albeit not clotted - vegan food hasn’t mastered that one yet).

Nicely decorated interior, it’s a chill place to spend a couple of hours away from the bustle of the city centre. Recommended.

Pros: Superb vegan afternoon tea, Some vegan offerings, Fair priced

Cons: Could have a few more options for vegans
