Tasty, Convenient, Many options - Edit
Super tasty food that was prepared quick and was a great bite before a show! Has a very wide range of options that even my mom (usually quite skeptical of vegan options) loved and said we have to go back to! A great place for vegans and omnivores to grab a bite together!

I ordered the Breakfast Scramble Wrap. I thought it was a bit of a let down considering how great it looked in the photos. Tasted average, leaning heavily on the hot sauce to give it flavor. Wouldn’t order again.

Good salads, grain bowls, smoothies. Gluten-free options are labelled. Try the Superfood salad or the Scramble bowl and a Recharge smoothie. Same owners as Terri, but NuLeaf has better food. The menu changes seasonally. The only thing I've had that was bad was a salad during the summer that had peach slices, unpeeled (yikes!).
Read moreThis location is huge. Plenty of seating, restrooms, free wifi. Friendly staff. The Midtown location is tiny and doesn't even have a restroom (but has the same great food).
If you're visiting NYC, this NuLeaf is right next to Madison Square Park (the actual outdoor city park), not Madison Square Garden (the arena). It's also near Eataly, where you can wander through the beautiful shops. And of course see the Flatiron building.

My all time worst experience - Edit
I’m not used to share bad experiences, I prefer try again the place and support all vegan initiatives no matter what (it can just be a bad day for someone in the back).
Read moreBut here… first it’s crazy expensive!!! We paid around 50$ for one small wrap (WITHOUT any side), one bowl, two drinks. For that kind of money, I was expecting something worth it.
It was quickly cooked, which is a good point.
And when we took the food: first, the smell, the wrap smells like burnt bbq, overbooked like never.
And worst part, it tastes like it too! Hopefully at some point there is avocado to reduce the sensation of eating burnt stuff.
The bowl was ok, but not original at all, do not expect anything crazy.
You are only paying the rent of the place who choose 5th Avenue. I don’t understand why it’s awarded on this app.
I wouldn’t recommend EVER. #Veganuary

Nuleaf is from the owners of the now defunct Terri, a former popular NYC chain of vegan comfort food restaurants. Much of what was offered in Terri is here as well, though it seems (as far as I can recall) that this place offers more grain bowls and salads for those seeking healthier fare.

Unlike their Hell Kitchen branch, this branch in Chelsea has plenty of tables to sit at and restrooms. In all, this place is a real winner.

This place is great! The food was super yummy and filling. I tried the chorizo fiesta bowl and it did not disappoint. Dare I saw it was a fiesta in my mouth? Don’t get me started on the customer service, it was absolutely incredible!!! The staff were super nice and helpful. They truly were the stars of my experience here. Looking forward to returning to try their desserts next!
