This place offers small, fresh-made waffles with toppings (three of which the server said are vegan). Nothing else they offer (such as ice cream) seems to be vegan. After my order was rung up, I found that they charged extra for vegan waffles--something that was not mentioned at all on the menu, nor was I told in advance, they just sprang the vegan tax on me.

I spend over 10 bucks for completely empty calories, I expect the dessert to taste more than just okay. There are a bunch of other places nearby that offer much better vegan desserts and with much better choices.

Friendly - Edit
Friendly little space with a few seats outside, none inside. Waffles are 'heavy', one waffle will probably be enough. If you want a "quiet" minute in the middle of manhattan, it's nice. Open late, maybe only in summer. Mostly a to go place (take-away).
