Great vegan intro to Japanese food as you fall out of the plane - Edit
It's in the top floor of the terminal tucked into a corner of what feels like a busy mall of shops and restaurants. Need to search a bit to find it. From the front you only see the counter and the colourful menu display. As you walk past the counter to the seating area, it's very clean and bright with windows out onto the airfield. It has wooden tables and bench-style seating, or at least you sit very high, possibly so you can look out of the window. #Veganuary

Full vegan restaurant - Edit
Located on level 4, before you go through security. No elevator to level 4, you have to go up to 3 then follow the signs to “food and shops” up the escalator. Chain restaurant, but food is great, and views over one of the approach paths to the runway. If you’re vegan and flying from T3, I’d suggest eat here first then walk over to T3.

Full vegan cafe in an airport! (BEFORE security) - Edit
Directions: From the arrival hall at T2 (which is level three or 3F), you go up a level (to 4F). The restaurant is near the middle, right at the back, sort’ve behind the largest display board on 3F. Near McDonald’s. It’s BEFORE security unfortunately, but this means you can also access it on arrival as well as departure.
Read moreCan’t believe it, vegan food at an airport! Took 11 m from paying and ordering to my food arriving, so you need 30 mins.

Stay for a while :) - Edit
It’s not the most mind blowing food I’ve ever had, but it hits the spot after a long plane ride and 3pm lunch! I ordered the Pho with vegetables and spicy soy based meat and it’s slightly spicy (the longer you eat it tho, the spicier it gets.)
Read moreI landed in terminal 3, so it was a bit of a walk, but you need to head to floor 4 of terminal 2 to find this gem! I’m so happy this airport has a completely vegan restaurant with unique options😄 I was tempted to get the pancakes, but they look like conbini ones haha

Did not disappoint hungry kids! - Edit
From the Arrivals Hall in T2, T’s is on the 4th floor, restaurant area. It’s a bit of a maze to find it, but if you turn left toward the hallway that has McDonalds, you’ll see Ts! We got the Shoyu ramen with gyoza, the Tantanmen and the Thai curry ramen. The first two were big hits— the kids especially liked the shoyu broth and the gyoza that came with the ramen. Everyone agreed we will be hitting up the other Ts branches in Tokyo during our trip. This was a fantastic first meal in Japan! Also, one of the most reasonably priced airport meals we’ve had, at $10/person for a sit down restaurant!

Clutch airport restaurant - Edit
Always nice when you have a fully vegan restaurant at an airport. FYI, this place is before security, so if you’re arriving on a layover you’ll have to “enter” the country to dine here. I always go with the golden sesame and gyoza

Thankful for a vegan restaurant in the airport - Edit
We arrived at terminal 3 so we took a bus to terminal 2 to eat at this vegan restaurant. I am so thankful for this place! Not sure what I would have eaten otherwise. I ordered the sesame tantanmen since it was the recommended choice. There was a ball of fake meat which I didn’t want to eat so I didn’t mix it in. I slurped the broth and found it to be very salty and I was very disappointed. I almost didn’t want to finish the meal. But then I decided that I should mix in the ball of “meat” because I had a feeling it would improve the taste, which it did! I was then able to taste less of the sodium and more of the peanut butter. It tasted better but still was not my favorite. My boyfriend ordered the Thai curry ramen which I really liked. I originally wanted to order that one because I knew it’d be good but I made myself order the recommended choice. His cousin ordered the veggie chicken and gyoza. I tried both and they were just okay. If I were to go back I’d stick to the Thai curry ramen.

Nice vegan pitstop - Edit
This restaurant is located BEFORE security, up a staircase/escalator behind the checked bag dropoff area that is on floor 3.
Read moreUnlike the T's Tantan I visited in Ueno station, this one is order and pay first rather than sitting down and ordering at the table with payment afterwards. You get a remote buzzer that goes off when your order is ready.
I got the spicy soy meat pho with a side of vegi-karaage. The taste was good, but I wouldn't consider it extremely healthy with all the processed fake meat. Certainly healthier than even whole real meat, though.
The wait wasn't long, maybe slightly longer than the Ueno station's.
Pros: Convenience, Taste, Speed
Cons: White rice noodles, Processed ingredients

Delicious pho - Edit
I’m so glad that there’s T’s Tantan at Narita Airport. Their regular ramen are also available there but a bit pricier than the ones that you can get at their Tokyo chains. We opted for the ones that are only available at the the airport. We tried their pho, and we’re so glad that we did. It just feels so good to eat something warm and delicious after a very long flight. The dashi was just so good, and my tummy felt calm. I’d recommend trying the ones with karaage as toppings.
Read moreWe also tried their shoyu ramen. It was ok, but the soy meat was a bit bland.

Tasty Ramen - Edit
This ramen was the stuff of dreams after a very long flight! My partner had the sesame tantan, which we reminisced about since our last trip to Japan. It was as delicious as we remembered! The sesame broth was delicious and hearty, though not spicy. The meat was tasty but dispersed quickly throughout the broth. The noodles were extremely generously portioned.
Read moreI had the shoryu ramen, which was a new one for me. The broth was tasty (though not as good as sesame tantan for me), and the chicken pieces on top were delicious, with a really good texture and taste.
We also shared a portion of chicken on the side. It was good and we enjoyed the sauce it was sitting in as well.
Service was fast and it was easy to order and pay at the counter, even for two extremely tired people!

Great Airport Dining Option - Edit
T's TanTan at Narita T2 is a great option for vegans, even catering to Buddhist vegans with dishes that avoid the 5 pungent vegetables. The menu has more variety than the one at Tokyo Station, including delicious rice dish plates. We all agreed the food here is tastier too! You can swap the noodles in some dishes for a rice-based pho, a nice bonus. They also sell vegan cup noodles in convenient boxed sets, perfect for bringing on flight. And the window seating offers cool views of the planes. Overall, a solid airport restaurant choice!

Great vegan restaurant at the airport - Edit
T's Tantan Narita Terminal 2 (before checked in-area) has an expanded menu, consisting of other things besides their signature ramen dishes. You will find a variety of rice dishes, as well as pancakes and smaller desserts. More expensive than their non-airport restaurants, but that is understandable. You can also buy the cup noodles at this store.
Read moreThere are two T's Tantan in Narita Airport. One before checked-in area, in Terminal 2, and the other one in Terminal 1 in your checked in-area.
This restaurant is great after a long flight, or before one. Window seats have power outlets and the restaurant is very bright and nice during daytime.

令人安心的選擇 - Edit

Great last vegan meal before departing. Had fewer ramen options than Tokyo Station location but more variety of other dishes. The sesame ramen was excellent.
