Breakfast - Edit
Opted for quinoa waffle with banana and maple syrup. Was tasty and filling, also had oat milk cappuccino, rest of the menu looked inviting ,if staying longer would go back!

Excellent breakfast or lunch - Edit
We enjoyed our breakfast— the Brekkie bowl with the Just egg frittata was perfect. The frittata sandwich and toasts (avocado with chimichurri!) were also excellent with thick cut toast. And they had an awesome espresso date smoothie and vegan muffins and donuts. Highly recommend anything. On top of all that the staff are super friendly and nice and service is quick.

Had the tuna sandwich, it was plenty of food and could definitely share with someone. Also the chocolate chip cookie was really good.

Pricey but good food - Edit
The first time I went here I got a big nourish bowl. A little pricey but decent sized portion.
Read moreThe second I ordered a brekkie bowl plus two add ons. They reduced the amount of food in the (smaller) brekkie bowl to accommodate the add ons. $20 later I am still hungry. Tasty but sad!

Nourishing Breakfast - Edit
The food is pretty expensive, but very good. I enjoyed the acai bowl, but I wish it was a little bigger. Avocado toast was great. There's a bathroom for customers and the service is friendly. Outdoor seating only

almost really good - Edit
Had the Frittata sandwich. The sandwich could have been really good I think if it had been prepared with a bit more care. The avocado was put on as a whole half, one big chunk in the centre, even though it was actually sliced. I opened the sandwich and spread the slices out a bit which helped already. Similar for the tomato, one thick slice in the centre instead of cutting it a bit thinner and distributing it a bit over the whole bread. Even the lettuce was squished on rather than breaking up the thicker stalks. The frittata was good but a bit too thin to even taste it with the mayonnaise covering it. On the other hand, the bread slices were a bit too think for a sandwich like this.

Tasty - Edit
Found myself in the City midday and famished. Used this app to find a place. Parking was tight, so I parked in the garage of Trader Joe's across the street. I got the grilled cheese, artichoke and spinich soup, and a tumeric latte. All were very flavorful. The sandwich could have come with a salad, but it didn't. The price was a bit high for just a sandwich, imo.

Refreshing Plant Based - Edit
A nice little place with many bowl, Acai, sandwich, and smoothie choices. Overall it feels like a better spot for warm weather with it’s almost exclusive outdoor seating and limited warm drink menu, but overall a good sampling of the menu would make me go back again if I’m in the area. The marinated tofu was a good choice, nicely seasoned.

Average at best - Edit
We came here for something light and quick and ordered a bowl of chili and the WeShred salad. The chili was very mild and just so-so. The salad was very basic and bland; the ramekin of dressing that came with it was nowhere near enough. We had to liberally salt it at the table to make it taste like something. The serving size was massive so that's that. Food for sure left quite a bit to be desired, but it served its purpose.

Nice small plant based cafe/rest with only outdoor seating, in the shade (is cold). Nice menu but dishes and soup didn’t tasted very well. Speedy serving, nice portions but taste was disapointing.

We had the Banh Mi and the Tuna Sandwich, which both were delicious. The tuna didn't taste like tuna at all, more nutty, but I still liked it. For dessert we had the Banana Walnut Muffin and it was so good, not too sweet.

I would give it one star, but happy cow won't let us. I think this skews the review. I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants, and this one is the worst tasting one I've ever been to.

Everything we tried at this place was fantastic. The Mission Bowl with tofu is excellent, so is the Bibimbap Bowl and Nourish Bowl. We loved their Acai Bowls too!

My partner and I split a chocolate chip cookie while we waited for our meals. It was expensive, but big enough to share. I ordered the Nourish Savory Brekkie Bowl without avocado, and I added tofu. The red pepper almond dressing was tasty. The meal was filling after a nine-mile hike from Lands End.

Hearty, Delicious Brunch - Edit
Came here for brunch most recently with some friends after not going up to SF for a long time and was not disappointed! I got the Frittata Sandwich and tried some avocado toast, and it was all excellent--the bread in particular is really hearty and satisfying. I was also thrilled to see donuts from Pepple's Donut Farm here (they are a favorite of mine), and I can pretty much never resist getting a donut when I have the opportunity. My friends both got wraps to cut down on the carbs (because they also could not resist getting toast on that fantastic bread), and it seems like the sauces very easily pool in the bottoms of the wraps as you eat them, so watch out for drips!
Read moreWhile things are a bit on the pricey side, the offerings are more filling than they first appear and the quality of the ingredients is, to me, obvious. No other place I've been to has consistently had such perfect avocados and tomatoes each time I've been (to either of the two Nourish Cafe locations), and everything always looks and tastes very fresh.
Seating here is limited, too, and even more so with the pandemic configuration, but we were thankfully able to snag enough seats and tables for all of us. That said, a larger group would absolutely have a difficult time getting seated, and parking was as difficult to find and it typically is in San Francisco, since there isn't really any parking there. Expect to have to walk a bit unless you're lucky.
Pros: Fresh Ingredients, Great Bread
Cons: Parking Can Be Difficult, Limited Seating

Not the best - Edit
We ended up having to go get a second lunch after this because the rice bowls were actually lettuce bowls with a small scoop of rice. Was very expensive ($50 ) dirty (trash and used gloves on floors) and noisy. Seating very limited.

Expected better experience - Edit
I’m really not a person who likes to give bad reviews, but this was a disappointment. First, the girl at cashier looked super annoyed, but ok, we all have bad days... Then, because they forgot to make my drink, when I asked her what about that, she said that is comming, but then she just packed her stuff and left. The staff who was literally next to her didn’t do nothing. The new girl who came to replace her, naturally did not know about me, so I needed to ask again, but they made me a drink I did not order and then after apologies when I finally got a right one, I could keep both. Despite waiting and reminding, both drinks were delicious. Regarding food, we had tomato soup of the day, which was delicious too. Then we ordered Tuna sandwich and that was kind of tasteless and I even did not finished it.

Very satisfying breakfast - Edit
Ordered their nourish savory brekkie bowl with the addition of the “just egg” frittata and it was delicious! I was a little nervous of how many veggies were included in the bowl but they complimented each other very well. It does seems a bit small when you get in the small soup to go cup but it is definitely enough! Very satisfying meal
