Vegan pizza made with love - Edit
Most of the time they have two vegan pizza options; Marinara and From Dries, With Love. They are clearly marked vegan on the menu. Not the best vegan pizza I ever had but yet very tasty. Loved the rawish vegetables on top! Further down the street you have the pasta place of NONA.

No nonsense italian restaurant with two vegan pizza options. The pumpkin mushroom pizza with topinamboer chips was tasty en large. With a little bit of spicy oil it was perfect. Friendly and fast service.

Al bij het binnenstappen zag ik de pizza’s op ambachtelijke wijze gebakken worden in de houtoven. Mijn verwachtingen lagen dus best hoog. Jammer genoeg stelde mijn pizza me, ondanks de ambachtelijke bereiding ervan, teleur.
➕ Je proefde aan de pizza(bodem) dat deze in een houtoven gebakken werd.
➕ Het deeg was flinterdun waardoor de pizza, ondanks de grootte, absoluut niet zwaar viel.
➕ We werden razendsnel en uiterst vriendelijk bediend.
➖ Er zat weinig pit en smaak in de pizza. De pompoencrème was lekker, maar mocht voor mij extra gekruid zijn. Ook de toppings (ik bestelde mijn pizza zonder champignons) waren zeer karig: rode kool en mizuna. Extra groenten en vegan kaas zouden een mooie toevoeging zijn.
➖ De eenvoud van de pizza zorgde ervoor dat de smaken na een tijdje saai werden.
➖ Omdat het deeg zo dun was, koelde de pizza snel af en at je, van zodra je aan de helft zat, een koude pizza.

Okay pizza - Edit
Nina has two restaurants on the same street. One for pizza and one for pasta. Both have vegan options. This one is for the pizza which was okay. They do not have vegan cheese and have two options. The one I had was a butternut squash base. It was okay but why do restaurants assume that just because we are vegan we don’t want a ‘normal’ pizza like non-vegans. As a venue it was very nice and staff were attentive and personal.

I'm noting all the other very positive reviews, so it's possible we just caught this restaurant on a bad night, but...when we arrived, they had only a pasta menu and no pizzas on offer. We'd queued in the rain for a table, so decided to stick with it, and I ordered the sole vegan pasta dish on the menu. It was terrible - the pasta was dense and really sticky and the sauce was dreadful. It was a tomato based sauce but full of capers, whole olives and an olive crumb which altogethet was just far too salty and left a really bitter taste in the mouth. All in all a rather unpleasant experience unfortunately

Ci siamo fermati perché il loro menù pizze non arriva neanche a dieci diverse pizze e due di queste sono vegane: la classica “marinara” e poi c’è la “From Dries, Whit Love”- Oct. 2022 (questa dicitura l’ho aggiunta io perché mi sembra di aver capito che la cambiano ogni tot), ovvero una pizza vegana stagionale a base di crema di zucca, barbabietola, cavolo bianco e rucola, davvero molto buona! Sicuramente su richiesta apportano modifiche anche alle altre; l’impasto è bello morbido e molto digeribile.

The dough is so amazing, perfectly fluffy and tasty, it's like you're in pizza heaven. I'd love to see a vegan cheese option, the "from dries with love" was good but nothing special, I found it a bit weird that the courgette was raw. Vegan cheese would've made it amazing

NONA's Pasta extension - Edit
Nona has a pasta restaurant just a shop or two down from the pizza restaurant which we went to instead as it was much less busy. Amazing food, lots of veggie options (the majority of the menu!) but no desserts was a disappointment.

They have approx 1-2 vegan options (pizza marinara is the staple, then usually another one that changes once in a few weeks). Would recommend if you're looking for a nice, fresh, organic and locally sourced pizza napoletana!

Good pizza dough - Edit
The dough is 10/10, super fresh. The toppings on the vegan pizza change according to the season, so I had a pumpkin base with mushrooms, walnuts, and fresh parsley. It was good, but I felt something was missing, maybe in comparison to other vegan pizzas I’ve had before. I’d still come here again though, because the dough was so good. 3.5 stars.

They had two clearly marked vegan pizzas on the menu: the 'marinara' and the 'from Dries with love'. The pizzas are really good and not that expensive (vegan pizzas cost around 7-10€). Even though they do not put vegan cheese on top, the pizzas have enough flavour. The service is efficient, friendly and multilingual. Careful, they have to locations in the same street. One location is for pizzas and the other one is for pastas.
