Great service, only one vegan menu option

Very nice place, great service, but only one vegan entree. They did suggest they could veganize a couple other items. To be clear there is no “separate vegan menu” as the intro states

Accidentally served me bacon on my vegan salad!

The restaurant is cozy and romantic. The food tasted good, that is, except the salad they told me was one of the 4 dishes they could make vegan. They removed the cheese and I took a big bite of bacon! No not the tempeh kind the real pork! I was mortified! They have two vegetarian main dishes that include cheese. I had the seitan w/o cheese which was delish.

Pros: Offers vegetarian fare. a good place to go with no

Cons: Expensive and double check your plate.

Not too many options, but the food is well made

Had dinner at the Nirvana Grille and ordered off their summer menu. The organic vegetable was a collection of about 10 different veggies, each with its own set of seasonings and prepared al dente and not over-cooked. All were scrumptious. The wild mushroom ravioli was also well-prepared and tasted great.

Pros: Well-prepared food, Nice ambiance on a corner in Laguna Beach, Wait staff / bartender was very accomodating

Cons: A little pricey, Not conducive to big appetites

Mainstream Restaurant with a Separate Vegan Menu

Great spot in Laguna Beach for a mixed group of vegans and non-vegans. This is a perfect spot for a special occasion or a nice dinner. We've been here 4 or 5 times in the last 2 years and have not been disappointed. Excellent food and service. Chef Lindsay has developed a very enjoyable restaurant. Worth a stop when you're in Laguna Beach.

Pros: Vegan menu, Attentive Service, Excellent food

Cons: Closed on Monday, Not open for lunch, Closes at 9 during the week
