Thankful for this place! - Edit
Really thankful that this place is still running. Not many places in Ninh Binh which provide vegan food, not to mention the great portions and affordable prices. Really good service, big selection of soups, rice, mock meats and snack foods, highly recommend!

Strange textures - Edit
Various food. Needs to be balanced with veggies. Flavours are okay to weird. Hard to get attention of the owners.

Amazing Food - Edit
Everything was exceptional. The only thing I didnt adore was the KFC, but even that was good when you dipped it in th3 Tamaerind sauce. Mango Salad was big and delicious.
Read moreNot amazing vibes. Kids on noisy tablets and no music. Be good to take away and make a picnic of though.

Good food, shady hygiene - Edit
The food was good, there were many options and it came relatively fast. But on my way to the bathroom i caught a glimpse of the kitchen and my hygiene standards weren't exactly met. The bathroom was also quite an experience.

High quality tasty vegan delights - Edit
Loved this place. Got four different dishes so I’d have leftovers for the long distance train ride I’d take the next day. Yes I know some of you don’t like mock meats. But it’s nice to have a change from tofu every dish. To balance the mock meats make sure to order a dish from the vegetables page. I got #1, see pic below. yummy

Not the best Loving Hut I’ve been to - Edit
Went here twice due to limited options within cycling distance when it’s 36C out, but I can’t say it was my favorite. The vegan KFC didn’t quite work for me, the fresh lemongrass bone added an overpowering citrus flavor that didn’t work. I forget what I ordered the first time around other than that it was fine. Not bad, but obviously not memorable if I can’t recall it a couple days later.
Read moreWeirdly empty both times I was there but still difficult to get service, and the vibe isn’t great given that the ceiling is literally collapsing right in front of the entrance…

Comfort food at it's best - Edit
Good food! I've eaten the szechuan tofu dish - which reminded me of the famous Mapo Tofu with mushrooms. It was really good; a little bit of spiciness, a bit of umami mushrooms and the creaminess of the soft tofu. Delish!
Read moreThe Hue noodle soup was also very satisfying. A hearty broth filled with mock meats and fresh herbs.
The tofu in tomato sauce is also very recommended. Fresh tomato sauce, soft tofu. Love!

Not the best - Edit
The food was very watery and the atmosphere a bit strange since the owner/employee was always in the back.

my god.. delicious - Edit
seriously the best vegan restaurant in Vietnam so far. You can also purchase the fake meat as a dried product. To conclude: we were embarrassed by the amount of times we went there (we practically lived at the place)

I went there today after arrivi g in Nnh Binh and checking previous reviews. I had the tamarind "chicken", mix veggie tempura and carrot juice (no ice no sugar). I was really happy with all 3 choices

One of the best vegan meals I’ve eaten - Edit
We ordered lemongrass chilli beef, roast pork, Thai fried rice, spring rolls, steamed veg and 2 fresh pineapple juices. Absolutely everything was great, I especially enjoyed the pork!
Read moreOn top of this each meal was around 50k so in total cost us less than 300k - very well priced!
*update* we went back of a lunch time and they were hosting a buffet for 80k pp including drink options. I am not sure if this occurs regularly, however it’s safe to say all the food was incredible. The whole restaurant was full and everyone seemed to be loving it!

Amazing food, family environment - Edit
Oh my days, the Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup) was out of this world. First dish that I've not had to add chilli or soy sauce to because it was so well seasoned and so flavourful. The peach tea was also yum.
Read moreBut I need to note that it is almost like having food at someone's house, in that their children and the Gran were walking around and the tv in the restaurant was turned on to play kids tv whilst the restaurant was nearly full. Was a bit odd for a restaurant, but it was also quite sweet. The two woman (waitress and the owner/chef?) were super lovely.
The menu is in English to make things easier as their English wasn't great.
I would go back 100% for the food, but not sure if I liked the having food in someone's house feel.

Super cute family restaurant! - Edit
This place was great, the food was out quickly and the ambiance was lovely. It is a family owned business, there were some cute kids in the back part of the restaurant playing while we were there. Super sweet family. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I personally did not love their crab soup, it had a strange fermented flavor that I am not a huge fan of. Highly recommend their “beef”, spring rolls, and any rice dish! The rice had some crunchy bits in which were delicious texturally. The guava juice without added sugar was fresh and perfectly sweet.

Comes with a creamy sauce and sauteed onions. Greatly great dish.
🍽️🏠 Facility
I know there might be limits because of money but everything could be made a bit more cozy and clean. No feel good atmosphere there. We did not get glasses for the bottle of water we've ordered (personal opinion)
Either way! Would come again because of the food 🌱🙂
