Love that they have Red Fern goodies! Super cool space in a converted house with different music and arts events. Very cool.

An array of panini options can be made vegan using substitutions and vegan cheese and mayo. Menu is labeled. Red Fern baked goods are prominently displayed on the counter. Owner was knowledgeable, and bakery is allergy friendly.

New Roots Coffeehouse is a unique, wonderful local spot! - Edit
Owner Aria has created a warm, inviting, inclusive atmosphere here and that has never changed. They have always been allergy friendly (as Aria has a severe nut allergy herself), but they have added a multitude of vegan options on what has become a quite extensive food and drink menu. Like all businesses, they've had to make adjustments due to COVID, but they would regularly have open mic nights and smaller-scale live acoustic music. Board games, cards, art supplies, and books were always available prior to COVID, but now they have installed TV to enjoy as well as the free WiFi which has always been available. Because they offer music and art instruction here, the art students work is routinely displayed also. I highly recommend them, and it's a very easy drive in from the city.
