Delicious and friendly - Edit
Lovely lady, suggested we get one set menu in case my son couldn’t manage a whole one, but was really concerned he hadn’t eaten when he didn’t want any of the starters, so gave us a huge extra portion of the mains. Everything we had was delicious, we had the lasagna and cake so didn’t try the aubergine meatballs or carob flan 🍮 that were also on offer that day. Will returning when my husband comes out to join us :)

The lady was super nice and even though we had some problems communicating because of the language barrier, she tried really hard and in the end just gave us each a different option of the menu for each course. The 1st course was huge and delicious. One of the best chillis we had eating out in a while. The main course was either eggplant based meatballs with tomato sauce or a curried vegetable and vegan chicken dish. Both delicious. The dessert was surprisingly good. A chocolate custard and an amazing piece of cake with warm chocolate sauce and strawberries. The last one was sooo good. Definitely recommended. The whole menu was 15 Euros with complimentary water.

Fuimos un jueves de invierno, con las calles vacías y frío. Tomamos un menú completo, con una ensalada riquísima, una tosta, alubias, albóndigas de berenjena, lasaña, crepe de espinacas, y de postre bizcocho de mango, arroz con leche y un flan de algarroba brutal.

El trato del personal es maravilloso, son muy majos. La comida está riquísima, el menú del día está genial calidad-precio, además tienes bastantes opciones para elegir como plato principal. Los postres también están riquísimos. Para repetir.

The food was extremely plain and tasteless. It is the only wholly vegan place in Santander but I've actually had better food in other restaurants. The service was also very careless and slow and I wasn't even greeted even though we were the only customers. I also had the dessert and it was the worst cake I've ever had.

1 set starter (made up of three plates!) then a choice of 4 options for mains and 3 options for desert, all equally good. The menu also includes a drink and water.

Es la segunda vez q vamos en 10 días y hemos salido muy contentos las dos veces!! El personal es encantador , nos dejaron comer con nuestras galgas , es más las trataron con muchísimo cariño, la comida se basa en un menú , q el primer plato es único pero porque lleva tres elaboraciónes, de segundo hay muchos para elegir , y los postres son riquísimos , para nosotros se a convertido en restaurante de referencia!! El precio fenomenal 15 euros por persona.

Es gibt immer ein Menü mit drei Gängen. Für Hauptgang und Nachtisch gibt es eine kleine Auswahl. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut, die Leute total nett. Die Öffnungszeiten sind etwas kompakt, Sonntags muss man schon mal auf einen Tisch warten und es dauert alles etwas länger - was bei der netten Atmosphäre total okay ist

Lovely sanctuary of fresh local ingredients - Edit
I really appreciated that the dishes gave me a chance to sample the local flavours. It was nice to have a fixed menu so I didn't have to overthink my choices. The pumpkin soup starter, cannelloni main and rice pudding dessert were great and good value for money. Only 15€ for 3 courses and a drink!

Ich weiss nicht wie ich es beschreiben kann, um dem gerecht zu werden: Es fühlt sich hier an, als würde man nach Hause kommen und deine Mutter überhäuft dich mit deinem Lieblingsessen. A must visit if you're in santander. As someone who is lactose intolerant, it was nice to find somewhere I could eat without worrying that my Spanish isn't good enough to communicate my dietary requirements (a me problem I know ... but still)
Read moreGreat value for money: starters, main, desert and a drink for 14€. Really friendly host and overall had a great time. The starters was some salad, toast with pumpkin spread and a chickpea & spinach dish. For mains I had a vegetable and soya meat alternative curry (3-4 options total including zucchini cannelloni and paprika shiitake and potato dish)and for afters there was, among other options (again 3-4 options available), chocolate and pear cake.
Would definitely recommend!
Pros: 100% vegan, Great service - friendly staff, Amazing food at a very cheap price
Cons: Only open for a couple of hours a day

Santander isn’t great for vegan food if you are looking to eat out. Even worse if your Spanish isn’t very good. This place is an oasis in the desert. Completely vegan menu. The day we were here we went for plate of the day. One starter, one main and one desert. Starters were choice of soup, salad and lentil stew. Basic enough food but the soup and stew (with rice) were a good start. Main was shiitake with potatoes which was small and basic enough. Paella and lasagne were the other dishes and very tasty too. Desert was a choice of apple sponge, slice of melon or yogurt with plum. We both went for apple sponge. No cream or ice cream but lovely all the same.

It’s just because, on the set menu, each and every dish we ordered was just a little off and maybe with odd flavor or something. The apple cake was quite good. Very nice atmosphere though, and we were very kindly permitted to bring in our savage dogs. Couple of steps down into restaurant, for those for whom that is something to take under consideration. I’d definitely give it another chance though.

The food is pretty tasty, we choose zucchini soup, chili, lasagna, shiitake mushrooms with potatoes, figs in syrup and rice with plant milk. The portion size of the main dish was quite small.
