The best vegan Restaurant in Budapest! - Edit
This is by far one of the best fully-vegan restaurants I ever had the chance to visit. The food is extraordinarily good, they have a big variety (even gluten-free) and a daily menu on top. The cakes are a DELIGHT. The staff is super friendly and the ambiente is cozy. During my 5-day stay in Budapest I went here 4 times!

TOP TOP TOP - Edit
One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. I went there twice during my stay in Budapest. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is really large with a nice ambiente. It offers international and hungarian cuisine, I loved the goulash soup. I must recommend the seitan Ratatouile plate which was amazing and there are plenty desserts, I tried the traditional hungarian Somlo sponge cake, it was heaven in mouth! The best place in Budapest to eat! Highly recommended.

One Of The Greats! - Edit
This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. They serve authentic hungarian food without animal products. I ordered the hungarian goulash soup which was delicious. And I ordered a hungarian pizza which was just amazing. I asked for my pizza to be well done, crispy with the cheese golden brown on top. And that is exactly what I got. Most vegan restaurants I order pizza at cannot get this right. I have to keep sending the pizza back over and over again asking for them to cook it more. But this one got it perfect the first time they brought it out to me. It was crispy with golden brown cheese without being overdone. And the vegan hungarian sausage they make is just delightful. And it is not expensive either, and the portion sizes are large! I got one of the best most fulfilling meals of my life for just over 12 euros! I am very thankful I found this place. I highly recommend everyone go here.

Lovely food and a lovely atmosphere with live music. We had a platter to share and it was incredible! Lots of options and their fresh juice is lovely too. Bit slow service but good regardless. Wish we discovered it sooner!

Great place - Edit
We ate there twice during our stay in Budapest. The first time we tried two different plates based on seitan and vegetables. Mine was fine but not exceptional -the vegetables were grilled on the outside but sill hard on the inside. My boyfriend had a plate with seitan really tasting like cordon bleu. The next time I had the salad bowl from the salad bar and my boyfriend tried another plate that was not as good as the first he tried but was still very fine. For the dessert my boyfriend tried the kremes which was excellent when you like vanilla cream but I had some gluten free dumplings that I would definitely not recomend.

What a beautiful dinner! - Edit
Wow! The ambiente was super nice, it even seems a little bit posh. Service was friendly, although sometimes quite busy and it took them a while to serve us. Food was excellent and really good value. We will definitely come back!

Good food, portions a little small - Edit
The food here was really tasty, seitan steak was nice and not too tough. My meat eater friends also really enjoyed it! My only complaint is that the portions weren't particularly large.. though that may be due to me always eating a lot!

Went with my non vegan partner and baby, staff was very accommodating even though the baby was fussy. We had pizza, the chef's choice and a salad from the bar. The stuffed paprika Hungarian dish was amazing. Took the carrot cake and the apple pie as dessert. The carrot cake was amazing the apple pie a bit weird tasting.

Great restaurant with outdoor seating - Edit
Great place, fully vegan. The even offer some typical Hungarian veganized meals. We tried the Hungarian ratatouille type of meal and it was delicious. The baked garlic soup and the curry soup as well. The staff was nice, they speak Hungarian, English and German. But I had to ask for a glass of tap water twice and waited for it for several minutes.

Good food - weird place - Edit
We came here for lunch and unfortunately didn’t get a table outside so we were seated in the back of the restaurant. The whole interior is very weird. Is looks like they’re trying to be some kind of 5 star restaurant which just doesn’t fit the whole vegan organic food vibe. It’s generally not a very cozy place and seems weirdly stuck up. We had the bean goulash soup and the Napfenyes platter. The food was very very tasty. The platter had a nice assortment of various vegan specialties and the soup was hearty and warm. We also had the ginger lemonade which was very good but they forgot about our order so they brought it mid meal after we reminded them.

Best place ever ! - Edit
We went here already 5 or 6 times in total and we always leave with a big smile. The manager is so nice and she recognized us even after 2 years. This time we went here with my parents in law from Brazil and both are not vegan, but they also got a big smile like we :)

Good eats. - Edit
The food was pretty good. We got the Seitan Roast and felafel plate. The Seitan roast was good, but it was a strange dish. It was Seitan with french fries and dried onions, but some how it worked. It was a very heavy dish tho. The felafels were a little too small. The humus and tzatziki were great as well.

Much to choose from! - Edit
I had the hardest time deciding, so many yummy things. I went with the Hawaii Pizza. It’s huge and actually really good with corn on it. I got a side of the soy yogurt with herbs sauce for dipping. Also really good. Lots of seating. The menu is one side Hungarian and one side English making it real simple. I wish they had half sizes of everything so I could’ve tried more.

Traditional vegan restaurant - Edit
This is a traditional restaurant with a lot of different vegan dishes and options. The price is really good and the food was very tasty. The indoors is really big with a lot of space and the atmosphere is quiet and calm. The staff was really nice too and do speak English. Wish it could have more outdoor tables. Worth a visit!

Very nice restaurant with lots to choose from the menu. We had the napfenyes plate for two persons. This is a mix of almost all meals they have. It is a great opportunity to taste almost everything! Traditional Restaurant - Edit
Among all the hip bars and eateries that cater to vegans, Napfenyes stands out for being a more traditional restaurant. This may be why when we were there we saw Hungarian families eat here with their grandmothers.

Yummy and satisfying - Edit
My Mom and Me shared a mixed plate for two and even though I’m a good eater, we still took some leftovers with us home. The plate was filled with rice, fries, veggies, potato mash on top some breaded tofu, homemade seitan, oat fritters, falafel and fried cheese - all vegan of course. The meal was yummy, not too greasy as fried food is most of the time and very satisfying. The staff was friendly, the ambience welcoming. The desserts looked heavenly too!

I had the garden soup with dumplings and the seitan with thousand island dressing. I had been walking all day and really wanted a sit down warm dinner. I got served really quickly and the food was lovely, very hearty and just what I needed. I also got some buns to takeaway. Highly recommend on a visit to Budapest
