Saved us! Nice vegan options - Edit
We had chana masala and aloo gobi with rice, papadam and a side salad. Food was delicious and filling, perfect after a long active day.

Good Food - Edit
It had four dishes that were vegan, it sure has saved a lot of vegans. Worth checking out.
Read morePros: More options than the other non vegan restaurants.

Friendly and hits the spot for Indian Nepali food - Edit
They are low-key but attentive. It's a nice atmosphere and the food is incredibly satisfying and the price is not bad. There's lots of options for beverages and the naan is delicious.

Vegan options Indian food - Edit
They speak good English and understand what a vegan is, could point me out what was (or could be made) vegan. Great tasty food.

Nice curry’s! - Edit
There are 3 course options. The most ‘simple’ one contains of two curry’s, papadum, naan (size was huge!) salad and rice (¥1350 without tax).
Read moreThey had at least 4 types of vegetarian curry’s. All of them had a lot of taste.
Free ‘refills’ of the naan and rice.
Great restaurant! Staff was very kind and honest. The waiter told us he didn’t put a dressing on our salad since it contained fish. They also know about vegans, since they asked us if milk or eggs were ok or not.

Good Portions, Fair Taste - Edit
Vegetarian options, can be transformed to vegan if you take the rice, and ask the salad without the dressing!

really tasty and good portions - Edit
Vegetarian options. Seems to be run by a Nepalese man, who speaks Japanese and enough English to explain to you which curry is vegetarian. The dinner set menu gets you 2 currys, a popadom, some rice, a salad and a large butter naan. Overall really tasty and filling. Wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. Had a good selection of Indian beers too, but I didn't try any.
Read moreWent back for lunch following day. 1050 JPY gets you the lunch set menu:
- Fresh in-house naan and rice (free refills)
- 3 vegetable curries
- drink (I went for mango lassi - amazing!)
- small desert
Bargain. Great after Dogo Onsen. Ready to nap
Pros: several vegetarian currys, good portions, very well priced

a variety of vegetarian options - Edit
there are various Indian/Nepalese restaurants in Matsuyama (Everest in Okaido arcade, Ladkhi near Matsuyama station), but they tend to have only one or two vegetarian options. Namaste Shokudou, a few blocks north of the tram to Matsuyama Castle, has a larger variety (10 or so?). the staff are friendly (as in other restaurants) and the food is very good.
Read moreCons: not pure vegetarian.
