No vegan/vegetarian options - Edit
Regretted not reading the reviews before coming here with my non vegan friends. Ended up just ordering an Edamame Black Tea. Extremely disappointed

Not Veganfriendly anymore - Edit
Unfortunately the TanTan Noodles are not vegan anymore. They added meat. I ask if they contain Fish as well (because of allergy), which seems not to be the case. Also the vegan signs in the Menu are gone.

Been to this restaurant, didn't see any plant-based option on the menu and asked a staff id they had vegan options.

Tantan is no longer vegan - Edit
EDIT 03/2025: went to the Nagoya location and found the bean meat has been changed to pork. Not vegan.
Read moreServer has checked at multiple locations and confirmed no dashi, meats or fish are used. Maybe it depends on the knowledge or how busy they are to actually check, or maybe some stores use it without disclosing it. But we've been told at at least 4 miraizaka that the tantan and yakisoba both should not contain animal derived products.

Tantan not vegan - Edit
We heard about the TanTan soy milk noodles and yaki soba but we asked the waitress about dashi and fish, she said it is in both dishes so none of these are vegan. We only ate fries, edamame, raw cabbage, and pickled cucumbers. At least we had a few drinks and service was good.

Very tasty - Edit
Two clearly marked plant based options on an English menu. I had the tan tan noodles, and it was delicious. Lively atmosphere and good beer too.
