Not Vegan Anymore! - Edit

Read moreWent there on 10/23/2018 and found out that ownership has changed "about a month ago" (according to our server),and so has the menu. This place is no longer fully vegan.
All food comes from the restaurant downstairs "Dole," and while the menu includes steak and burgers and other very very carnist options, it does a have a few vegan options. I had a salad with fava beans, asparagus, and pine nuts and it was very good! (and I'm not huge on salads as meals) My friends had hummus, which also looked good. Chill atmosphere and good beer on tap, plus a good selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. The staff was very nice and pleasant.
Too bad about their website/FB/review site listings not being updated, because I walked in with misguided expectations.

Coffee shop with vegan options - Edit
It is more of a coffee shop - called Nahoře (upstairs in Czech) and you can order some vegan meals from connected restaurant's kitchen called Dole (downstairs in Czech).
Read moreThe offer is limited, so we ordered a salad with beans and asparagus and hummus (you can choose with what herbs you want it) with pita bread. Food was good and staff friendly. Hesitation between 3* and 4*.

amazing burgers, excellent beer - Edit
It's a small bar, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I tried a delicious seitan burger and a lovely local beer (named California) from a brewery close to Prague. The quality was really high and I enjoyed the familiar and quite atmosphere. I really recommend it.

Nahore has an extensive drink menu with a few vegan food items. They served mostly alcohol but had a few very tasty ginger beers and fancy rose lemonade type drinks as well. I went here cos I really wanted cake and it was later at night. They have a different cake everyday. The plum cake I had was real good. it had a pretty smokey atmosphere, which is okay for a bar setting but was not quite what I was hoping for. The atmosphere was cool, dark, with a loft that had benches and pillows and an outdoor area with blankies.

If you are a smoker, go there - Edit
I'm not a smoker anymore, so I got a little bit shocked when I entered this bar and noticed that I was the only non-smoker there. Yes, people are allowed to smoke inside, making a huge cloud around you. You might hate if you don't smoke.
Read moreThere are a lot of things to drink and a few options to eat, but the burger was very tasty and the tofu with noodles was delicious as well. The owner is not vegan and has another restaurant that serves meat on the next door, sadly. I just can recommend this place if you are a drinker and a smoker, unless you don't mind to ask food to take away.
Oh, and they have coffee for after alcoholic destruction party :)
