While it’s not fully vegan, every single dish is either already vegan (majority) or can be made vegan. Super tasty and is a must if your vegan on holiday and want to eat healthy and tasty!

Great concept, disappointing execution - Edit
Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. The bowls were average at best, and in my case, the vegan protein was so oversalted that it left me feeling unwell afterward. It’s a real shame because I love the concept, and on paper, the menu sounds fantastic. I really wanted to enjoy it, but the execution just didn’t live up to expectations.

Came here for lunch and I had a Texan bowl with vegan chicken alternative, absolutely delicious and filling. Also had a passion fruit cheesecake which was amazing. Friendly staff and greeted with a huge smile, would definitely recommend.

Friendly spot for a healthy tasty lunch - Edit
Most dishes are vegan friendly, just a couple are vegetarian only. They serve protein bowls, tacos, wraps, and curry. All dishes are served with a choice of protein, including a very tasty lentil-based vegan chicken (all their other proteins are from animals). The service is really friendly, and the food is delicious. Highly recommended for a tasty lunch.

Lots of veggie and vegan food and drink options. Everything was clearly labelled. Went for a bagel, it was very fresh and quick service. The 'mango detox' was very refreshing! You can sit indoors and outdoors.

This review is for the La Paz location (Machamama Botanico) which opened in the former Humus space (sadly no more!). The restaurant is not all vegan but all dishes are essentially vegan—you choose vegan or non-vegan. The bowls are terrific, and the smoothies are really nice. Excellent service as well.

Ich war mehrfach in den Restaurants, es gibt mehrere davon auf der Insel.
In jeder Filiale sind die Gerichte überwiegend vegan, es können jedoch tierische Zusätze gebucht werden.
Das Essen ist sehr lecker.
Es gibt zuckerfreie Desserts.

I'm on vacation in Puerto de la Cruz and I've been to Machamama three times already.

I've also tried the Frappuchinos (all vegan) and one of their bowls.
I'd give this restaurant 5 stars, but on this app 5 stars can only be given to all vegan restaurants. This one is listed wrong; it definitely serves cow cheese. But almost all of the options are vegan!
The staff was really nice on all different days I've been there. They've always patiently answered my questions regarding what exactly is vegan.
