Surprise in Karlsruhe - Edit
I mean just wow! Great stylish vegan restaurant with a rich offer and very tasty food. We didn’t expect this in such a town as Karlsruhe! Definitely, must visit. I have noticed that for later hours they had many bookings, however during the lunchtime was not a big deal to find a spot there!

Wir waren zu dritt im „My Heart Beats Vegan“ und wir sind uns nach dem Besuch auch alle einig: So gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Wir haben uns unterschiedlich Burger ausgesucht und weil ich besonders hungrig war, hatte ich noch eine zusätzliche Beilage. Wirklich alles hat unglaublich gut geschmeckt und der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die Entfernung zu unserem Heimatsort - aber gut: Beim nächsten Besuch in Karlsruhe gehört ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant auf jeden Fall dazu.
Read moreDesserts waren leider nicht mehr drin, dafür sind unsere Mägen dann doch zu klein und die Portionen der Hauptspeise mehr als ausreichend - aber die Desserts sahen in der Theke auch verdammt gut aus - vielleicht passt da eventuell beim nächsten Mal etwas rein.
Preislich ist es im mittleren Bereich - nicht zu billig, aber auch nicht zu teuer. Aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ! Das freundliche Servicepersonal ist jetzt nicht direkt und sofort zur Stelle, um die Bestellung entgegenzunehmen (dies wurde bei Google des Öfteren als Kritikpunkt erwähnt und hatte auch das Gefühl, dass daran was dran sein könnte), aber wofür hat man eine Stimme, wenn man sie nicht einzusetzen weiß.
Fazit: Ohne Einschränkungen empfehlenswert!
Pros: Sehr lecker, Gute, vegane Auswahl, Schönes Ambiente
Cons: Service könnte bisschen aufmerksamer sein

Die Location ist auch toll und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Ich war schon mehrmals hier essen und hab mich ziemlich durchprobiert. Bisher fand ich alles was ich probiert habe absolut perfekt. Die Burger sind wirklich mega und auch die Torten sind unglaublich lecker. Alle Omnis, die ich mit hierher genommen habe, waren ebenso begeistert wie ich :)

Went there for a dinner with my non vegan family. And everyone enjoyed the experience. The burgers and sweet potato fries are so delicious that they‘re kind of famous. But there’s much more on the card to choose from. The starters and salads are great as well. And you should really try the cakes. They also offer fresh lemonade which I love. The staff was friendly. You can also order food for takeout and bring your own boxes.

Best vegan burgers I've ever tried - Edit
Came here on my trip to Karlsruhe. It's a must visit! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and there are always people eating here. I've tried the "London Calling" burger, and it was the best thing I've ever tried. Also had some nice fries alongside. Their desserts are also delicious. I think their food is a bit expensive (7-8 euros for a burger), but I'm not from Germany so I can't compare it. However, it is worth every cent, be sure to visit this place and try this heavnly food :)

I can't believe that I've posted on Instagram so much about this place, yet haven't made a review here yet(thought I had?), as we've been coming here even before moving to Karlsruhe.
Read moreNeedless to say, the burgers are bomb and there's really no bad choice to make. The fries are also great, like I'm used to having with burgers, thin and crispy.
They do have other dishes that I haven't tried, aside from the caesar salad that comes with the crispy soy patty.
The desserts are not bad, but I wouldn't skip the fries or another entree to save space, as I find the creams to be a bit too much just sugar & fat and not having much individual character, especially the tiramisu, which was more just a coffee buttercream cake. The mint chocolate one was very nice though!
It gets pretty busy on Friday night, so I would recommend reserving.

My Heart Beats Vegan is one of the better vegan restaurants I've eaten in. Staff are very friendly, many speak very good English, and there is no rush to order or leave quickly after your meal. The food is of an incredibly good quality and in good-sized portions. A request to substitute a different patty in my burger was no issue, and food arrived quickly. The restaurant itself is very comfortable, with a really nice ambience. The hummus was very nice, and my burger really tasty. I wasn't overly keen on the dessert, but I'm yet to find a vegan restaurant that can do great desserts. Overall, I enjoyed this place so much, I returned a few days later for a second meal. I would definitely return here again if in Karlsruhe.

What a beautiful and charming place! The staff were very friendly and their service was great too. I had the dish of the day, an Indian curry with sweet potatoes, which tasted absolutely superb. I was pleased to learn that the passion fruit juice was 100% made from passion fruit. For dessert I chose the almond brownie which was gooey and chocolate-y just as it should be. I wouldn´t have noticed that it was gluten-free if it hadn´t been marked so. That brownie was definitely something to live for! Hopefully they´ll give a sugar-free or xylitol-based version a try in the future. The waitress was definitely open to my suggestion. To sum it up, I can recommend this gem of a place wholeheartedly!

Best vegan burgers ever - Edit
We travel a lot and so we also tried a variety of vegan burger options, but the best you clearly get here. They have great variety and also pasta and salad dishes alongside delicious homemade lemonades and cakes. Also the hummus is extraordinarily good and the weekly changing dishes are always super creative and tasty. I still miss the autumn salad. Definitely go there if you have the chance!

Read moreThe first time, we had two burgers with some fries. Was very glad that some of the dishes could be made gluten free, and my other half very much enjoyed his burger. They are stacked so high, it's actually tricky to eat them.
I was surprised to note that one of the salads was the most expensive thing on the menu, but when I saw another table get their salad bowls, I could see why.
Anyway, we were so full that we couldn't fit any cake. They looked so delicious though that I kept thinking about them - so we went back for "Kaffee und Kuchen" (afternoon coffee and cake) a couple of days later. The cakes were divine and I'm sure this wasn't my last visit.
