The cakes are so so delicious! I have been to Cuenca twice now and always take a little dander to this wee bakery. Andrea is so kind and her English is perfect which is great because my Castilian is far from! Would recommend trying the pumpkin and chocolate zebra cake… dangerously good!

A great vegan find (in a not so vegan-friendly city) - Edit
It's a cute little bakery located in the prettiest part of the city, with many options - all vegan and many are gluten-free. We tried various things and loved the raw tarts. I wouldn't buy the cookies again, but overall I would 100% recommend to pay the owner a visit. Kudos for feeding vegans in a city where it's a real struggle to find vegan options!

Cute cake shop in the heart of Cuenca - Edit
We visited this spot several times during our short stay in Cuenca. As of April 2025, it's the only fully vegan establishment in the town. The place is quite small, so we always opted for takeaway. They offer a lovely selection of cakes, cookies, tea, coffee, and kombucha. It would be wonderful if they added some savoury options too. The owner is absolutely lovely and speaks excellent English as she used to live in the UK—she gave us plenty of great tips on places to visit and shared insights into local traditions.

Es un sitio pequeñito subiendo a la catedral, y es principalmente para llevarse la comida. La dependienta es majísima y se nota que pone mucho amor a lo que hace.
Read morePara ser un sitio tan pequeñito tiene mucha oferta de comida (de beber tienen, si no me equivoco, solo kombucha!). De muchas opciones aue hay, probé la tarta de manzana y el bizcocho de arándonos: BUENISIMO!!! Tiene mucho sabor y se nota que es natural y con la cantidad justa de azúcar.
Hay cosillas mas caras y otras mas baratas, pero para mí el precio no es desorbitado.
Tengo muchas ganas de probar el resto 🧡
