Mustard's Last Stand - New Haven Ave

I am Vegetarian and the rest of my family is not. We all enjoyed our food! Sooo good! Clean, quick, and 😋 delicious!

Mustard's is my favorite place to get veggie dogs around town! Lots of choices on the menu as far as toppings go. The buns are steamed which makes them soooo good! My favorite is grilled veggie dog with grilled onions and mushrooms, with yellow mustard. Kraut dog is also good. The veggie chili is tasty, but spicy. This location gets very busy at lunch time, and can get cramped inside. There is plenty of seating outside. I bring my dog sometimes and he orders the "dog for a dog"! This place is a total dive, but a total local gem too!
**I'm only giving it 2 stars because twice in the past few weeks they've given me real beef hot dogs instead of veggie dogs. The first time, the owner was there and they corrected it with no attitude. The second time, they had attitude and the replacement dogs were awful.**

Love the veggie dog and fries

Surprisingly, they sell a lot of veggie dogs so you'll get a nice fresh veggie hot dog. They have an enormous menu of hot dogs with all kinds of toppings including sauerkraut, guacamole, onions, pesto, relish, etc.. They have a few other sandwiches and they have some wonderful sides. My favorite is the pesto fries. Deadly but delicious.
The people are very friendly and the place is relaxed and beachy casual. There is covered outdoor seating, but it overlooks a busy road, so the only scenery is the other patrons.
