Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Vegan for... the ANIMALS, the environment, water, world hunger, my health!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I love this app when I'm on the go! I am trying to be better at providing reviews now that I'm in Florida and not surrounded by vegan food options like I was in Portland, OR.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've done quite a bit of traveling, but I have so much more to see! I want to see the whole world! I want to visit every continent.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Desserts are definitely my favorite... pies, cakes, pastries, ice cream... I love it! Also like sushi, mediterranean, and salads, but always down to try a new vegan food!
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Vegucated! This is the documentary that turned me vegan over night. Cowspiracy is also very good. Dr. Fuhrman's book Eat to Live.
