We had a good time at Munz Munz, it's located on a small quiet street in the old part of Monopoli. The food was delicate and the atmosphere nice.

The food was very good, although it was a bit cold. The waiter was very nice and as they had no salad (due to the season), he brought us a very yummie fennel carpaccio. The wine was also vegan and organic - and delicious!

We went twice, the first time we had 3 different pasta dishes (including the porcini pasta which is only available a few weeks of the year) and the second time we had other dishes like curry, chilli and ceviche which were all also delicious

Very good food. We tried the tasting menu with 3 dishes. All were really tasty but not too big. We were still full in the end. It’s always really great to eat in an all vegan restaurant. It is not too cheap though but worth the money.

Read moreNon ne vale la pena, nè per i piatti, veramente poco ricercati rispetto alle pretese del menù, nè per i tempi biblici per di attesa, ma soprattutto per la scortesia del personale. In 2 ore e mezza di attesa ci è toccato un hummus freddo di frigorifero, una ricotta di mandorle che può trovarsi in ogni negozio vegan e Thai noodles preparati con sottilissimi spaghetti di riso incollati e pasticciati con panna di soia. Alla richiesta di avere del pane tra una portata e l’altra (45 minuti) il cameriere, molto scocciato, lo ha lanciato sul tavolo con gesto di stizza. Invito gli avventori a leggere le recensioni che parlano di servizio e attesa

Ci dispiace per il suo disappunto ma mi chiedo: se secondo lei la "Ricotta di mandorle" è una ovvietà da supermercato perché l'ha ordinata????

L' hummus deve essere servito freddo, non ho mai mangiato un hummus caldo, senza considerare che viene servito con un insalata di fagiolini all'aglio e menta per pugliesizzare un piatto della cucina mediorientale, mi spiace se l'ha trovato poco ricercato. I Thai noodles sono spaghettini di riso che condiamo con una salsa di alga nori, anacardi, salsa di soia senza glutine, olio di cocco, che niente ha a che vedere con la panna di soia, mi dispiace se il suo palato sopraffino non abbia riconosciuto i diversi sapori.
Quanto ai tempi di attesa, se i piatti erano freddi per cosa avrebbe aspettato addirittura due ore e mezza????
Mi conforta il fatto che abbiate fatto "La Scarpetta"

Le cose non sono proprio andate così. Non voglio cascare nuovamente nelle vostre provocazioni, però bisogna anche aspettarsi delle risposte se si provoca. Perché la volta scorsa, come anche adesso continua a fare, avete insultato noi e la nostra cucina, insinuando che i nostri prodotti sono di cattiva qualità e surgelati ( noi manco ce lo abbiamo i congelatore). Il mio compagno, che mi vuole bene ed è suscettibile quando mi si critica così tanto, vi ha solo risposto a tono, dicendo che facciamo tutto al momento e dando una pacchetta sulla spalla al suo compagno in segno amichevole. Ci dispiace molto di non essere stati capiti e di aver rotto la vostra bolla emozionale, però imparate a non rompere quella altrui, perché non è pagando che vi riservate la libertà di trattare ed offendere la gente come più vi garba. Non vi è piaciuta l' esperienza da noi?!?! Non tornerete, non consiglierete questo posto. Ok! Ma non c'è bisogno di insultare e poi pretendere anche che uno non risponda.

E mi dispiace contraddirla ma questo nostro locale nasce proprio dai circa 20 anni passati a vivere in diverse parti dell' Italia e del Mondo.

The "Crudaiola" in Italy is a pasta dish seasoned with cold ingredients. Our menu is changed every month and that day the one in English was not ready yet, but we still gladly translate the whole menu and are always available. however we are very sorry for letting you down.

I didn’t order Crudaiola, it was supposed to be warm pasta. I wrote that it was completely cold - well, sorry, it was cold in 75%. So no, it wasn’t dish you are talking about. I wouldn’t order it. Thank for your comment but the expierience was very bad. Waiter was annoyed, rude and wouldn’t bother translating anything to me. I used to work in restaurant, I do appreciate good service. This was the worst during my trip in Itally. Sorry, because I choose vegan restaurats first and wasn’t expecting this.

Casi toda la carta es vegana. La comida está muy buena y el sitio es muy bonito, tanto dentro que está bien decorado como fuera que tienen una terraza sobre una plataforma en la calle. Las raciones no son muy grandes y tal vez sea un poco caro, porque tienes que pedir varios platos. Aún así, para variar de tanta pasta con tomate está genial.

Sono stato a cena in questo ristorante con il mio ragazzo e abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Il locale è molto carino ed è molto piacevole anche stare ai tavoli all'aperto. Come antipasto abbiamo assaggiato la tartare di verdure su gazpacho alla mandorla (davvero molto buona) e il salmone vegano, che non era male ma la porzione era eccessivamente piccola rispetto al costo che aveva. In seguito abbiamo preso l'hamburger beyond meat (dal sapore eccellente) e l'hot dog vegano, molto buono e dal costo inspiegabilmente basso rispetto al resto. Complessivamente, dunque, al netto di alcune stranezze dei prezzi che alla fine si sono comunque bilanciate, siamo stati davvero soddisfatti e consiglio questo ristorante

Il ristorante è molto carino e ben curato, il menù ricco e vario. Ho passato il mio compleanno qui, sono stati super gentili e mi hanno preparato una torta vegana frutta, mandorle, pan di Spagna e panna buonissima. Ottime l crocchette e la tartare di verdure e deliziosa la parmigiana Vegan.

Great food, friendly staff - Edit
Lovely food, friendly staff who seem to go out of their way to accommodate vegan requests. Often 2 or more meals on the menu usually vegan, but they are willing to adapt other dishes where possible. Tasty, inventive and modern, have visited Munz Munz a few times over the past few months, and will definitely return. As for the cost, I didn't think it pricey, but it's not 'snack bar' prices either. I think this fairly reflects the effort and attention to detail the food shows.

I don't understand why this place gets so many high reviews. The food was just ok, and expensive for what it was. The vegan options were quite limited—only two possibilities for lunch—one of which was some fairly bland lentils and rice for 10 euros.

Very nice restaurant. The furniture was all recycled and looked amazing. The staff very friendly and obliging. We really liked the wine they offered us. There was a big selection of vegetarian food, we took a plate with a mix of some of them. It was tasty. But it could have been a bit more tasteful and also it was quite cold. Maybe ask them to warm it up.

The rice cheeses are fantastic, so is the vegan cold cut. Freshly made juices, cookies and the vegan lasagna is to die for. Plus: the service is exceptional, will welcome you with the utmost kindness. such a lovely place.
