Amazing vegan bakes - Edit
After searching high and low on Happy Cow for the best vegan spots in Whitby I thought this was the place, and it was just amazing. The service was great (and loved that they asked customers “oat or cow milk” so cow wasn’t the default). I went for the No Avo bagel which was delicious although a bit messy! Then I couldn’t choose between bakes so got a lemon and poppyseed cake, apple and blackcurrant crumble and a cinnamon bun! They were all amazing and sad I couldn’t have had one of everything!

The best option in Whitby IMO - Edit
Came for breakfast, coffee, and pastries. Sad I wasn't able to go back. A huge variety of vegan goodies, including bagels and a ton of pastries. I wish they were in my town honestly. Can't miss it if you're vegan and in Whitby.

Whitby is very touristy but worth a while. The cafe is small but efficiently organized. Great burger.

They have a lot of vegan options and a lot of vegetarian options that can be made vegan too. The options are earthy and delicious, and I love that they have a range of vegan desserts too.

A fave when I’m in town - Edit
I love to stop in Mr. Cooper’s when I’m in Whitby. I especially like to sit at the window bar seats that over look down into the town and people watch.

Perfect! Wasn’t expecting the menu to but as extensive as it is. Plenty of milk options, cake cupboard had about 8 options, and quite a few options for bagel and bowls! Lovely staff.

Great food - Edit
I love this cafe, they always do super tasty food and coffee. The brunch and lunch menus have good vegan options, pictured is the no avo bagel from the brunch menu and the vegan feta is lush. There’s always a huge selection of vegan cakes but get there early as they sell out! The staff are largely nice but aren’t the most accommodating to changes from the listed menu dishes. The cafe is also small in size and this can also cause further tension between staff and customers. I have been on three different occasions (once a year) and this has appeared to be a problem each time. I understand high pressure working environments but people just want to visit as the food is so good! Shame the atmosphere doesn’t always match this.

Amazing Vegan Loaded Bagels! - Edit
Mr Cooper’s Coffee House has so many vegan options, it’s a must visit for anyone veggie/vegan visiting Whitby. I went a few times and tried the No Avo Bagel (soo delicious with courgette and pea puree spread, vegan feta, sunblush tomatoes, salad, fruit…so good!), the Mediterranean Salad with Vegan Feta (also delicious with loads of different things in like berries, plum slices, pecans, green beans…), and the Double Layer Frangipani Almond Croissant (oh wow what!! Incredible and could have been split between two but I couldn’t stop eating it). They also do REALLY good coffee. I always get a latte with oat milk and it’s really really nice coffee. I would give it all 5 stars if I could but they also have salmon on the menu so I can’t even though 90% menu is vegan/veggie.

Unreal ! - Edit
Popped in for a coffee as noticed the milk alternatives through the window and ended up getting brunch! Had the banana and choc chip loaf and my partner had the pbj banana bagel. Both were sooo good. I absolutely loved mine ! Honestly one of the nicest brunches I’ve ever had. Staff were so lovely as well. Such a great vegan selection as well.

Perfect for those with a sweet tooth - Edit
Always try to make the effort to pop in when I’m in the area. Love love love all the sweet treats I can choose from. I turned up rather late on a Sunday afternoon and still managed to pick up a couple of bits (with probably another half a dozen options). If I’d made it in earlier, the helpful lady said the entire first counter and the top shelf of the next was all vegan, so they do make sure they have plenty of choice for us!
