Great buns, great fries - Edit
Most of the items on the menu can be served vegan. The tofu buns are delightful and the new cauliflower bites are ace. The sesame salad is delicious also. Washed down with a can of yuzu pale ale.

so delicious - Edit
delicious!!! went here for date night and it did not disappoint. the restaurant was relatively busy when we arrived so i recommend booking, but they have indoor, outdoor and bar seating. veggie options labelled as a "V" on menu, but the server asked us if there were any dietary requirements when we placed our order. we ordered the sesame spinach, sweet potato fries, BBQ corn for sharing and i ordered the shiitake mushroom and the tofu bao buns. the food came out at different times but that didn't really bother us. favourite sharers was definitely the BBQ corn ribs and the bao buns were honestly so delicious. only downside was that the service wasn't as efficient as you'd like it to be, but the food definitely makes up for it. will definitely be returning 😋

Vegan Bao - Edit
The vegan bao here is pretty good, worth trying if you can't get a seat at the three vegan joints in the area

Be careful to say you want vegan food - Edit
Went here 2 times in 2 days (not my choice). First time I thought (and was told) everything marked with a V on the menu was vegan. When we asked about the dip they said it was not, and they even had to return with our baos as the sauce on them was not vegan. Also, the vegan sauce was superspicy compared to the non-vegan (according to others).
Read moreNext day we went we wrote specifically VG on the papers, so I didn’t even think twice about it (also being with a group of non-v people one doesn’t want to be that vegan who always asks and talks about it). How specific do you have to be? The sauce came out non-vegan again, and the bao must have been with the non-v sauce again, which I only realized later.
The corn ribs and the edamame were really good though.

Tasty bao - Edit
Very tasty food and delicious cocktails. It’s very popular so don’t expect time to have a leisurely meal because tables are booked back to back. I think it would be a good date venue.
