Delicious vegan options

Monster pot is my go to place! Make sure you look at their online menu as they indicate what is vegan and vegetarian. My favorite is the veggie & tofu Pho, salt and pepper tofu, and the veggie spring rolls. Any of their noodle dishes marked vegan are delicious. Their curry noodle soup and peanut noodle soup is amazing! I’ve also had the scallion pancakes and sesame balls, so good!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious food, Good indoor dining area

Cons: $10-20, Outdoor is cold in the evening

Didn’t get my food?

Waited over an hour for my food, went up to the man and he said 5 more minutes after saying that the last 20 minutes so I just left. He wouldn’t refund me and said I could get a meal next time I come but I don’t even live here, I was visiting. SUPER CONFUSED

Underwhelmed

My family and I ordered some dishes online that listed as tofu with vegetables, but only had a couple of small pieces of broccoli.

The teriyaki sauce was too salty.

And for $9 you get two bland springs rolls with a grossly spicy peanut sauce.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Overpriced, Plastic packaging, Poorly prepared

Asked for vegan, got chicken

I’d recommend ordering online to avoid any confusion. There is a significant language barrier. The guy is super nice but it was really frustrating because he gave us a to-go menu and a pen to circle what we wanted. We circled the vegan, tofu option and even verbalized “vegan only” when we ordered. My son and I got the tofu option, but my husband was given chicken and ate a piece of it before realizing it wasn’t tofu. He hadn’t eaten an animal in 16 years and was really upset about it. He went in and said it was supposed to be tofu and all vegan and the guy said “chicken, yes!” My husband had to say “no, I said vegan only! Tofu!” He got a new order with tofu and the guy was apologetic. The food we did eat was good on flavor, but lacking vegetables. The teriyaki tofu was supposed to have broccoli, but there were only two pieces in the dish.

Pros: Vegan options (but make sure it’s actually vegan), Nice guy

Cons: Gave us meat, Lacking vegetables

Great vegan selections

Edited 12/19 - Betty's moved to a nearby site and now is called Monster Pot. The food is still good and the restaurant venue is much improved from their old location.

Betty's Noodles has a huge menu and offers tofu or veggies instead of meat for most, if not all, of them.

It was really hard to decide which item to pick but I suspect that they are all good.

The atmosphere isn't very appealing - it's inside the local metro bus station but the food makes up for it.

Delicious, Many Vegan options

Very accommodating staff with regards to vegan food options. Every dish can be made with noodles or rice, all very tasty, generous portions, right on the main street of stores.
