Exactly what I was looking for! - Edit
I was looking for a vegan place with authentic Czech cuisine - and here I found it. It was absolutely amazing. As a main dish I had the "Svíčková", which was delicious! Best food so far in Prague for a very fair price. Will come here again :)

100% vegan restaurant - Edit
You can find this restaurant a bit outside the city centre, not far from the Jirak farmers market. Not easy to find a fully vegan restaurant in a city that has a traditional meat heavy diet.
Read moreThey serve vegan options of traditional Czech dishes like goulash, vegan duck, etc….
I got the eggplant tartare as a starter and a vegan duck as the main course.
Both were delicious and the portions are definitely more than enough.
Service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable for the amount that you get.
Even a lot of locals eat there which says a lot about the quality.
I definitely recommend making a detour to come and eat at this place!
Pros: 100% vegan, Fast and friendly service , Reasonably priced for the amount that you get
Cons: A bit harder to find (but definitely worth it)

Wow!

Vegan Czech food - Edit
After we ordered the Seitan duck and the Svickova they told us the „duck“ would need like 25 minutes. Fine for us, we went for some appetizers in the meantime. Unfortunately, when the waitress came back, she said that they only had a few appetizers left. We got the Tofu feta with bread, which was okay but nothing special.

Pros: Traditional Czech food

Great food! - Edit
We had two appetizers, the marinated tofu (which is put in a jar, so it’s not really what my son expected and he didn’t like it that much) and the great pate. Then the vegan duck, a Czech dish, very well made. And a bowl, which was nice, except for the huge amount of dressing (yoghurt/mayonaise) on the salat at the bottom. I couldn’t eat that, but the rest of the bowl was good. And they have a lot of amazing vegan cakes, I had the oreo cheesecake, which was amazing!

I visited Moment in the morning. Tried 2 breakfast dishes: Moment and Pancakes and took 2 housmade lemonades. Only pancakes drew my attention, rest was ok but not to be tried again. Friendly service though …

So good - Edit
Had the pumpkin and beetroot gnocchi! Very warm, tasty and filling. The staff is very nice and the place full of plants. The music was a bit loud though, can become noisy during lunch when it's full of people. Prices are a bit above the local average, but worth it. I recommend!

A lovely Moment - Edit
I have experienced this bistro under three different owners and even though all three were quite great, the current iteration is by far the best one yet. Every visit in the last 10 months we’ve received wonderfully tadty meals and even better service. I highly recommend the club sandwich, the “duck” and the “svíčková”. If you are fond of Czech cousine this place is a must.

Delicious authentic food - Edit
I came here with my two Czech friends and they said it was authentic and very good. I had the svíčková which is a traditional Czech dish of dumplings, root vegetables sauce and vegan ‘beef’ with cranberry and cream. It was delicious and the portions were generous. Good service, friendly staff who all speak English.
