Some dishes need improvements - Edit
I ordered beer goulash with dumplings and my friend had onion soup and loaded fries. Beer goulash was wonderfull, the one thing is horseradish cream. Goulash is quite sour and bitter, why did you add horseradish? It is incompatible!!
Read moreThe soup was the worst, I didn't expect this. In simple words, it was just broth with small(maybe fried chunks) of onion. The only thing that made us happy in this soup is croutons with cheese.
About fries. It wasn't bad, seitan kebab was very good, but sauce..? Maybe they call it cheese sauce, cos it has nuch? I don't know. It did prove a disappointment.
Pros: Pretty placement
Cons: Really bad soup

Delicious food and super-friendly staff - Edit
I was there in June 2018. The staff where super friendly and made me feel at home from the first visit. As I was staying in a hotel not far from this cafe, I kept returning everyday for the rest of my holidays and in every visit I was surprised with the amazing choice of dishes, specially the Spanish omelette, the soups, salads, deserts and their superb coffee. Also, as a non-binary person I loved that the toilet/rest-room is not gendered! Thanks, Moment! 💜

Best vegan place in Prague - Edit
I totally love the place, stuff is really helpful and nice, food is freshly done and give homemade feeling, daily menu worth the money, some food options can be not so healthy, there is one desert with natural sugar 🥥😄

SALT - Edit
Been there a few times over the past five years, watched the owners and menu change. Comparing 2017-2018 and now, I can definitely say the quality has deteriorated.
Read more1) The food is practically inedible. Yesterday, we ordered two soups, the Asian noodles and the omelette. The soups were OK but a little too salty. The main course, however... Imagine having a gorgeous-looking dish. You take the first bite - everything is fine. Before you get to the second bite, you start to get suspicious. After that, any bite feels lethal. The sodium content was INSANE. There was no way we could shove it down our throats. Both the dishes were also quite oily (hello, heartburn).
2) The wait was a little ridiculous. The café was empty. We placed our order at 19:20 and received it at 20:10. I'd worked in a café before, and I know things may not go as planned, but it's not fair on the customer to give fake promises of "15 minutes".
The desserts, albeit not healthy (refined oil, flour, & sugar), were really good taste-wise.

Come early for the daily menu - Edit
At Moment I would recommend the daily menu which is a good value of money and a great choice of Czech or international cuisine. It is however sold out quickly so make sure to arrive right before noon if possible. Surprisingly I like the fried cheese from their menu even though I am not a huge fan of vegan cheese in general. Their svickova is also my favourite but I hate to get the dumpling's edges everytime 😄 so I stopped ordering it. I had both savoury breakfast options and liked it very much too. Desserts are also good. I love their kremeš.

Very rude and unfriendly staff, mediocre food - Edit
We had a very bad experience with arrogant, unfriendly staff. First visit it was a Slovak speaking guy who was verbally abusive to us for no reason, and then upon our second visit several months later is was a rude female staff, for a change. Her behaviour towards us was crass and uncouth. She was very hostile and had this overly self-assured, too cool for school attitude that was very off putting. We were very disappointed. And the food was meh... mediocre, to put it mildly. Also, they do not accept payments with cards in this day and age!!! Who carries cash anymore!!! I know I don't. And I also know I will never visit this place again!! Poorly managed! I do not recommend at all!

fantastic Saturday breakfast - Edit
We walked a long way to visit Moment, but it was totally worth it. There is a breakfast menu on weekends before 11:30. I had an omelette with kimchi and it was delicious and very filling. And the chocolate cake was also very good.

We had just had the most amazing meal in a long time! I was a bit sceptical at firts, but the food was great. Best "segedinsky gulas" I've had- including back when I wasn't vegan. Great find! We will come back for sure!
