Interesting but not convincing - Edit
They have three vegan dumplings - we tried the savoury, vegetable one. They took very long to warm it up, the waiters paid no attention to us, and the dumpling had a very mild/ slightly boring taste. Not bad, just unexciting. We wanted to try the chocolate one but after the waiters ignored us for another ten minutes, we gave up.

Never had a rolled dumpling before - Edit
Very clear vegan options and very knowledgeable staff. We sat outside with a vegetable soup and a rolled vegetable tofu dumpling, it felt very nice to be able to have local cuisine veganized without having to jump through hoops.

Nice daily menu - Edit
I had a daily menu option, pumpkin/chickpea curry. It was more like a soup, but very enjoyable. Ordered at 6pm while the daily lunch menu officially runs until 3pm.

Veganised local cuisine - Edit
Really enjoyed being able to try some vegan versions of local cuisine! They had a few options of both sweet and savoury. Very filling meal, €13.50 for the stew and dumpling.

Worth tasting - Edit
I tried the asparagus dumpling. It was quite tasty - like creamy, buttery toasted bread. I was happy with it and can recommend it. There were two other vegan flavours: chocolate and blueberry. The vegan dumplings were about €5.50, or €1 more than the non-vegan dumplings, and they looked a little smaller than the non-vegan dumplings. The restaurant offers take-away and has a large terrace if you want to have table service. I wish I’d tried the chocolate dumpling, but the asparagus dumpling was filling (and at over €10 for two it was a bit pricey for what you get).

Definitely try the chocolate one! - Edit
I went after a tour guide’s recommendation and was keen to try some traditional dumplings… a different version of “dumplings” than I had seen before. They were out of the mixed vegetable one so I got the asparagus one, even though I don’t love asparagus, so it is not surprising that it was only okay to me. The chocolate one, though, I loved! If you love squishy food like I do, you have to try it. Warm with melted chocolate poured on top… I want another!

Traditional - Edit
We stumbled upon this on accident and were later told on a walking tour this was a must try by our local guide. We ordered one chocolate, and one spinach dumpling. Honestly the spinach dumpling had no flavor. It kind of just tasted like plain tofu? The chocolate was delicious, not too sweet just right. I would totally recommend grabbing some coffee and the chocolate dumpling for a nice treat. It’s located RIGHT before their daily market so it was a fun breakfast spot watching everyone set up. By the time we were done eating we were able to walk all through the market.

Average taste - a handful of options - Edit
I got the chocolate strudel. The taste was average. Other vegan options included vegetable strudel and blueberry one. The service was slow. Nice location by the river.

Vegan dumplings - Edit
Great to be able to try local cuisine with a vegan twist. Tried all three options - plum with cinnamon, chocolate and vegetable. All came with an accompanying sauce. The cinnamon was my favourite.

Lots of choice - Edit
Lots of vegan options - one savoury, at least 3 sweet. They were sold out when we first went though, so had to come back the next day, but it was very good to try some authentic Slovenian cuisine that was vegan!

Nothing special - Edit
I appreciate the vegan options. With most veg restaurants closed on Saturday I noticed a lot of people at nearby tables also ordering vegan items. Unfortunately they were out of the vegetable dumplings, so I had vegrac and the vegan chocolate dumpling. Both were okay but nothing amazing. The prices are cheap and the service nice, but the restaurant doesn’t have its own bathroom- the nearest option was a public restroom under a bridge with a loooong line…

Wow, what a treat! - Edit
The vegan dumplings were delicious and my server was really nice! I got the vegetable and the strawberry vegan dumplings and they made me a large americano. The dumplings were interesting and really satisfying. I didn’t try the chocolate but it looked great too for a dessert.

J'ai pris celui au chocolat, c'était vraiment pas incroyable, mais peut-être que c'est ce dessert slovène en général que j'apprécie peu...

Ok - Edit
I had heard this place offered several vegan desserts. When I arrived, they only had three dumplings (savory, chocolate, and strawberry coconut). Maybe I’m not a dumpling person, but they were rather bland (a lot of dough and not a lot of fresh flavor and spice). I enjoyed the vegetable one more than the strawberry which did not as fresh and fruity as I had hoped.

Good place to try vegan Strudle - Edit
We could choose between three different kind of strudles, two different soups of the day and two different salads (one with vegan cheese and the other one with tofu). The chocolate strudle was very good (not too sweet) and the price was fair. A con was that they only offer sweetened rice milk and no other alternatives.
