Pizza with vegan options for fair price - Edit
Mister pizza offers vegan pizza options for great value. However, it's quite difficult to create your own vegan pizza. It's possible to change cheese to a vegan one for 2 euro, but most of the pizzas include more than one cheese or meat, so you have to resign from something. I ordered verdura pizza and I had to change the sauce to tomato one and pay for vegan cheese. Despite it, it was a great experience in the case of food. Pizza was delicious.
Read moreThere's one disadvantage related to the restaurant itself - today inside the restaurant it was hotter than on the outside of Florence. I had to use a hand fan constantly to barely breathe.

I asked if I could have a vegan version of one of the classic pizzas, and checked they had vegan mozzarella, which they did. When the pizza came, it had ham on it and whilst the vegan mozzarella was used, I think other cheese was also used. It had been a long day, so I picked off the ham and gave it to my husband, rather than ask them to change it.
Read moreI was not impressed, the staff didn't seem to care very much and because I have a dairy allergy as well as being vegan, I had to dose up with antihistamines when I got back, just in case.
Not a great experience, and although we are going back to Firenze next year, I wouldn't trust this place again.

Pizza molto buona, la mozzarella fatta con l'olio di cocco era molto soddisfacente: sapore lievemente dolciastro, fra mozzarella e stracchino, buonissima con gli altri ingredienti. In più era una porzione molto generosa, la mia pizza era coperta di mozzarella come le altre!

Excellent pizza and a great stop while exploring Florence. The pizza was delicious, with plenty of vegan-friendly options that were just as flavorful as the classics. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, making the experience even better. The location is also perfect—easy to find and a great place to take a break while walking around the city. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza in Florence.

I had the marinara pizza minus anchovies. The crust was puffy and just the right amount of chew. The menu clearly labels vegetarian options and pizzas can be ordered with vegan mozzarella. They also have one vegan dessert on the menu. Plenty of gluten free and reasonably priced. Some of the best pizza I’ve had so far in Italy. Who would have guessed? Great, reasonably priced Florence pizza option!

We opted for the margarita with vegan cheese and added mushrooms which was delicious. Also had the veggie fries as a start, which were better than expected.

Read moreOn the whole, for a non-vegan pizzeria the pizza was actually pretty good. By no means exceptional, but you'd be pretty happy overall with what you get and what you pay for.
Definitely very friendly towards Vegetarians given the slant on cheese. The menu recommends beer pairings as well which is nice for those interested in a drink.
Good choice for what it is, all things considered!

Ich habe vor vier Jahren schon ein paar Mal hier gegessen, und damals war die vegane Pizza wirklich hervorragend. Es gab sogar eine sehr leckere Trüffelpizza für Veganer, die es heute leider nicht mehr gibt. Als ich neulich wieder dort war, war ich jedoch ziemlich enttäuscht: Die Pizzen haben geschmacklich deutlich nachgelassen. Der Service war zwar freundlich, aber das Ganze war ziemlich teuer – uns wurden 10 € Servicegebühr berechnet. Wer eine authentische, geschmackvolle vegane Pizza genießen möchte, sollte dieses Restaurant lieber meiden.
Cons: Pizza war den Preis nicht wert, hohe Service-Kosten

Mister Pizza does not label any particular menu item as vegan in the store menus, but they have vegan mozzarella available upon request. They have English menus available. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. We got the Verdissima pizza and La Regina pizza, both with the vegan cheese. I am not sure what vegan cheese brand they use, but it tasted great and had a creamy texture. They also have a “surprise” vegan dessert, which was very tasty orange cake when we visited. Overall a very good experience!

Mister Pizza is a solid, reliable option if your are travelling with kids. I loved the verdissimo pizza - with arugula and vegan cheese on a whole wheat sourdough crust. Reasonable price, although vegan cheese is extra, which I always feel it should not be!

At first this pizzeria sounded like an american spot but we were positively surprised. Their pizza is very delicious and there are so many vegan options, even with vegan cheese! We really enjoyed our meals there. Unfortunately we came a bit late and they didn't have enough vegan mozzarella (just for one 🍕) but the staff was really nice and was flexible about a nice vegan pizza for my boyfriend. Recommended! 😄
