Still the Best - Edit
I have been going to Millennium for almost twenty years. I have probably been to a couple hundred other vegan restaurants around the world and nothing even comes close. Yea it’s expensive, but you are getting the best gourmet vegan food available.

Get the burger! - Edit
My review is solely based on the Millennium burger. All the others dished we got were ok, but the burger was incredible! Such a great variety of flavors and textures. The ketchup was amazing too!

Good Vegan Food - Edit
I'm going to be bold and break the line of five star reviews. After everything I'd heard, I was expecting pretty exceptional dining, and I was honestly disappointed. It isn't exceptional if I have to say that it's good vegan food; I should just be able to say its amazing food, period.
Read moreI enjoyed all of my courses from the prix fixe menu, but I did not find them particularly inspired or worth the price or the restaurant's reputation. Too many competing, strong components that didn't really complement each other all that well.
It was good, just not that good. My alfredo was very nice for a vegan alfredo, but it wasn't all that special.
The atmosphere was very nice and the service quite friendly but not terribly professional for a restaurant like this.
On the whole, this was one of those restaurants I had to try before leaving the Bay Area, and I'm glad I did. I'm not longing to go back, though. I would recommend it for a very enjoyable meal, but not an extraordinary dining experience.

Simply outstanding - Edit
The food is unique and takes you on a magical ride of vegan culinary fantasy. Unique is often overused but not in this case, this is an exceptional example in every way. Easily the best high end vegan restaurant in east bay.

Bias Take...Lol - Edit
I'm really writing this to promote this excellent Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant...because I work here. Lol Chef Eric Tucker's creates an innovated menu for you to experience contemporary cuisines...100% VEGAN. In collaboration with Chef Ambrose Miner, they create flavors through an experimental imagination using fresh local farmed produce. Millennium also provides a fine-dining ambiance w/ an option of outside patio seated. The bar includes inventive cocktails, craft beer, and a wide selection wine list. So come on over to Millennium if you're in town.

Rather than try to replicate omnivorous dishes, Millenium creates unique menu items using novel ingredients, some of which you may never have had before! I recommend checking it out! 🙂

This is a good place to have a nice dinner, date night etc. It’s a bit pricy but the prices are comparable with similar vegan restaurants. I prefer Plant in Asheville to this restaurant, but I still really enjoyed my meal and the ambience. It’s a beautiful place!

The food here really impressed us. It was a super laid back environment, waitstaff are friendly. But the food is like fine dining stuff. Really something different and very tasty.

Honest review: I didn’t love this place—the food was too pricey to be bland—but I still support the fact that they are an all-vegan upscale restaurant. We got the saffron risotto and adobo.

One of the best, ever, anywhere - Edit
Millennium has been a Mecca for seekers of creative cuisine since they opened in the original location in SF long ago. The chefs know their way around a vegetable, and a kitchen. The Oakland reincarnation offers the same inspiringly inventive plant-based cookery in a more relaxed atmosphere, and still with excellent service.

Delish, but use a lot of mushrooms. I can always find a couple of things in the menu without though.
