Mildreds is the sort of place with a small menu but each item on that menu is packed full of flavour. One of the best vegan restaurants to go to when in London! The chicken burger and the chicken kebabs were unreal!

Delicious vegan ceasar - Edit
Enjoyed the ceasar salad- no need to add the rashers though. Chorizo came with a lovely polenta. Everything was very tasty, came quickly, and the staff were fantastic. Book a table if you want to avoid disappointment- but we were luckily able to be seated without one. Be ready to be elbow to elbow with the table next to you.

One of the Best Meals of my Life, Great Staff, Gluten-Free Options - Edit
I went twice on my recent trip. First for brunch, then for lunch. If you are looking for a healthy breakfast, then the cardamom porridge with blueberry compote is a great choice and tastes really amazing! My daughter had the Classic Brunch, which is a full English breakfast, and I gladly helped her eat it - it was also really delicious. On the second trip, I had the Sesame Tempeh Soba - and this is ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING AND DELICIOUS dish that you could possibly imagine. It was one of those once in a lifetime can it ever be repeated options! And hopefully, it can be but I didn't have any time left to go back and order it again. And then, just when I thought it couldn't be any better, I ordered dessert, a rare opportunity to eat vegan AND gluten-free tiramisu!!! It was melt in your mouth just perfection!!! The entire flavor combination for my lunch and dessert was truly fabulous and I wish I could get the recipe for the tempeh balls and tiramisu!!! The other really fabulous thing about Mildreds, both on this trip and a few years ago, is that the staff has always been very personable and friendly, and that makes a big difference for an overall wonderful experience.

I was so excited to try their rose gin cocktail but somehow it turned out smelling and tasting like shampoo... perhaps it was intended for those who can understand and love such taste but for me it was too much. other than that, the food was really good!

A bit disappointing - Edit
I came to Mildreds at Covent Garden for breakfast. When I walked in a staff member immediately asked if I wanted water (That was literally the first thing he said). I thought 'that's nice and attentive', but later it turned out that I had to pay for the water. The staff member was a bit too commercial.

Went here on vacation, didn’t know what to expect but it was all vegan and all lovely. The pakora pocket was delicious and the bun options were good too. We had a couple desserts, the chocolate cake was the clear winner. Definitely would go back.

Loved dining here. Everything was how I hoped it would be. Friendly staff, a nice looking restaurant with a good atmosphere. I loved the food, sadly I only ate a main dish. But this should be without a doubt on your list if you are looking for great vegan food in London.

We had a perfect stay at Mildreds. The menu lists some interesting dishes, and those that we tried were very tasty. The staff was very kind as well and there's nothing to complain at all.

Went with my vegetarian sister for brunch around noon on a Sunday with no reservation, we were seated immediately. she had biscoff pancakes and I had the almuerzo brunch. all the food was delicious & filling, coffee was good, service was friendly and efficient until towards the end of the meal (it took us a while to pay the cheque.) it is on the expensive side. I wish my brunch had come with some tortilla chips or a tortilla because it was heavy on sauces/spreadables but nothing really to put it on, (but it all *tasted* good, and was well-balanced flavour and texturally, it was just a little awkward to eat). I definitely come back but I would also give more like 4.5 stars.
