Not the best vegan junk food I've eaten, but certainly not bad. They make their own patties and hot dogs which is great. The croquettes weren't anything like Spanish croquettes and more like falafel, in case you were expecting that.

Really affordable, good vibes, lovely chef! We had two hot dogs with multiple toppings, they also come with mustard, ketchup and mayo. Loved being able to add Plantain to mine, special option for a hot dog. We also got a little dish of the day that was quinoa, tofu and black beans which was really refreshing to be able to get some healthy protein on the go. The hot dogs are not traditional hot dogs, you choose between beet or spinach, but they are really nice. Really enjoyed our meal.

Wir hatten Burger, Hot dog und Pommes/Kartoffelecken. Rein vegan und ganz lecker. Das Patty und das Würstchen sind aus Gemüse und sehr weich, so gut wie gar kein Biss. Die Brötchen fallen auseinander.

I had the menu deal. Hamburger was moderate size, and could have been bigger. Taste was great, but the bun was tough and the stuffings started to pour out from the side. Hot fries were good. Banana milkshake excellent.

The Beet Hot Dog was excellent (fluffy bun, great flavors, good size). The Legumes Burger with caramelized onions on top was perfect (fluffy bun, the white cabbage was a perfect match, great patty). The fries were too soggy for us. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (very good overall). The sweet pastry was excellent in terms of taste and consistency.

It's called Vegan Fast Food and that's what you get. They serve different kinds of Burgers, Hot Dogs, Wedges and other stuff. I just had the Beet Hot Dog and it was good. Nothing to complain. The staff was also friendly and the prices fair.

Vorweg, ich gebe hier aus Respekt noch eine mittlere Bewertung ab. Bei Mels handelt es sich um ein lang etabliertes Restaurant, rein vegan. Wir haben den schlechten Google-Bewertungen nicht so sehr getraut wie den guten Happy Cow-Bewertungen.
Read moreUnser Besuch zum Mittagessen war nicht gut. Es gab kein Tagesgericht, also bestellten wir zwei verschiedene Burger, Pommes und Gemüsekroketten.
Die Pommes mussten wir zurück geben, sie waren nicht fertig frittiert (kalt). Die Kroketten lauwarm, aber noch das beste an unserem Gericht.
Die Burger… eiskalte Tomaten, das „Patty“ ein einziges Geschmiere, ebenfalls nicht richtig durch, maximal lauwarm. Langweilige 0815-Brötchen, kein guter Geschmack, wir konnten nicht zu Ende essen.
Ich habe mich so auf homemade-Gemüse-Pattys gefreut! Das war eines der enttäuschendsten veganen Erlebnisse aller Zeiten… wir haben den Besuch extra in Santa Cruz eingeplant… was für eine Enttäuschung.
Pros: Günstig, aber was bringt mir das, Pommes wurden anstandslos zurück genommen

Wauw, we had a menu for two with a spinach hotdog, a beetroot burger, fries and two drinks. It was delicious! As a dessert an amazing (filling) cookie. In total €19,70. Friendly staff. I would love to come here again! 💚

Very good food and nice staff. Coming from Costa del Silencio, we stopped here for a quick meal before heading to the Jardín Botánico in Puerto de la Cruz and we had a great time. We will definitely be back the next time we're around.

While prices were fantastic, the food itself felt a bit drab. We had a burger, hot dog and croquettes, but they all tasted similar, some type of vegan filling supplemented by white bread, mayo-like sauce and a few shreds of lettuce. The fresh juices were fantastic though!

Nice place offering hamburgers and hot dogs. Even though the food is not mind-blowing, I found that the hamburgers were home made from beans and vegetables, so it felt fresh and It was not greasy or heavy. They also have fries, nuggets, onion rings and other fast food dishes. They have a daily main course that varies. There are desserts, ice cream, juices and shakes as well.

Very affordable food, a burger cost €3.90 that comes with mayo, shredded cabbage and tomato. Has lots of choice to customise (extra cost) including pickles and vegan cheese. 3 choices of burger (beetroot, vegetable or spinach). Offer hotdogs as well and also meal deals. Great service, food was tasty and came very quickly. Really can't complain! Recommend!
