So realistic meat - Edit
I ordered chicken imitation . It was really like chicken, i was confused, but it is so tasty. Fish imitation is realistic, too. If you want to try something like meat but you are vegan, you must try it.

Mostly good food - Edit
Their Thai food is delicious. I had the
Read moreTao hoo pad preaw wharn (sweet and sour tofu) with rice, which was very tasty. I do wish the large pieces of onion had been chopped up though.
I also tried the BBQ Cheese Burger, which was not so good. A burger that does not contain tomato and lettuce is really weird to me. I just placed the salad inside the burger and that was better, but I don't think beetroot works with it.
The tiramisu and mandarin orange cake were okay. Nothing special. But their cinnamon rolls were superb! Every bite was wonderful!
We came twice in two days, and my partner greatly enjoyed all of her meals.
I think we will return many times. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are good, they speak some English and accept card.

Charming cafe - Edit
Beautiful cafe situated in a side street a bit away from bustling Sukumvit Rd. Rich menu with Thai favorites as well as some western choices. Nice selection of desserts. I had their khao soi which was outstanding! and also the samurai burger which was ok. Tried the tiramisu for dessert- lovely. I would definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

Closed - Edit
I arrived here at 7pm for dinner. The place was closed. Beforehand I reached out via Instagram and contact form but no reaction. I tried calling but no answer.

I don’t understand why give a vegan restaurant negative review just because it was closed when you arrived. This review will drag down their average for no fault of them. Support vegan businesses, help them keep their door open!

Great value & chilled vibe - Edit
An oasis in Bangkok! Great value also for BK and seriously tasty food! Would recommend the Khao Soi and Pad Krapraw moo sab! Didn’t take a pic of everything we’ve had as we’ve visited on a few occasions but every meal has been delicious. Didn’t rate the pad Thai actually but there are so many better Thai dishes to choose from. Coffee was also really good. Beautiful Thai hospitality.

Amazing krapraw - Edit
I gave the original location on Asoke a less than stellar review years ago. The food is so much better now. The Pad Krapraw Moo Sab is amazing. Best vegan krapraw I have had

Very good - Edit
It’s a great place, reasonably priced with lots of options. It is such a great opportunity to taste local cuisine when you are a vegan, they have a wide variety of Thai dishes, as well as some western dishes as well. I even ordered a birthday cake with them, they offered a lot of options. I would rate my cake 8 out of ten because the orange flavor seemed artificial, but this is just my taste and they have lots and lots of options to chose from. All in all, highly recommended !

So lucky to be able to taste Thai food but veganised - Edit
I visited May Veggie Home a while back, and I recently came across some photos in my gallery that reminded me of the great experience I had, so I wanted to leave a review. I enjoyed their vegan Thai food, starting with the fresh and flavorful spring rolls. The Pad Thai was well-balanced and had a nice texture, making it hard to believe it was entirely plant-based. I also tried their vegan burger, which was tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly. If you're looking for good vegan options, I recommend checking out May Veggie Home!

Great Vegan Food - Edit
May Veggie Home is overall for sure one of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok after over 5 months here, if not number 1.
Read moreThey have an extensive menu with many different options. I really like their soups and their desserts, although everything is tasty. They are also available for delivery on Grab. If you order The Tom Yum Het on Grab, the portion size is absolutely insane.
For dining in, the location is quite out of the way, although you can take one of the motorbikes waiting at Punnawithi BTS and they will drive you there. Or you can walk, it's around 15 minutes from the station I'd say.
I went with some Thai omnis, everyone was very delighted how real everything tasted and they loved the place overall.
The price is very reasonable as well.
Pros: Very tasty, original taste, Some menus have huge portion size (mostly on Grab)

Amazing food! - Edit
Really loved May Veggie Home, definitely my favourite place that I tried in Bangkok! I had the pad Thai with ‘shrimp,’ and also the tofu with peanut sauce. So yummy! The restaurant itself is really nice too, even if it is a bit of a mission to get to.

You should probably be sure you're really clear when you order, as they might make a mistake (student workers) but overall, the food really just is sooo good. Mmm.
Had the pineapple rice, fresh spring rolls, pad thai, and noodles with coconut curry. It's hard to choose.. so many good options.
Pros: Yum! , Pleasant atmosphere

May Veggie Home has a big menu with lots of Thai dishes and a yummy burger. I would eat here all the time if we lived a little closer, so happy they now have an May Veggie Express! I would recommend the burger, fresh spring rolls and cauliflower bites. I brought my mum when she was visiting and she really enjoyed it too.

Best vegan restaurant in Bangkok - Edit
By far the best vegan food in Bangkok. There are many options and the food is very fresh and tasty.
Read moreI love the fact that it is completely vegan, unlike many vegetarian restaurants that feel the need to include eggs & dairy, which should not be considered vegetarian.
Also very nice selection of beverages and desserts. The mocha ice cream, banana nut muffin and tiramisu are my favorite desserts.
Everyone must try this restaurant, even non-vegetarian people will love it. Guaranteed!!!

Updated MAY2023
Now there are so many vegan restaurants in Bangkok, but May Veggie Home still remains my favorite in Bangkok and always my first choice.
They have relocated since my very first review.
There are two locations. A much larger restaurant with parking is now at Sukhumvit 101. And there is the smaller May Veggie Express, in the Asoke area of Bangkok. Does have indoor seating.
I take many non-vegan friends to eat at May’s and they all love it.
Everyone loves the Yam-Sap-Gai🤤😋
