Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant with a separate vegan menu including several starters, mains and desserts. Open Tue-Sat 17:00-22:00.
Closed Sunday and Monday.
Great for top notch food and service. Has a separate vegan and vegetarian menu. Good atmosphere and parking outside.
The price is above average but you get what you pay for.
Absolutely love the curry from here, particularly the kale kofta! I've only ever had it as take out, but they have a dine-in restaurant too. The menu has the vegan items clearly labelled. Not cheap.
Brilliant Indian in Nottingham for Vegans!! - Edit
The menu is fantastic. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. We’ve struggled to find a good Indian since becoming vegans and now we’ve found it!!
The service was brilliant and they put a note on our order regarding our veganism without being prompted. Cannot recommended this place enough for fellow vegans in Nottingham
Beautiful interior design, however poor overpriced food. Slow service and bathroom upstairs without adequate lighting. The food is presented well ,but lacks favour the vegetables appeared to be frozen as they were watery. Looking forward for the tipu sultan opening soon nearby.
Was going here for a family meal so picked a meal in advance and messaged the restaurant, asking if they could make a vegan version of my old go-to dish (Dahl Makhani). On arrival, not only had they made me that dish, but they informed me that they had recently introduced a fully vegan menu that had a wide choice of vegan starters, mains and sides. They also now have vegan chocolate cake and ice cream as a dessert option. All the food I had was outstanding; particularly the soya keema and Carrot and Beetroot cutlets. I talked to the owner for a while and he said he'd previously followed a vegan diet for a few months, but had fallen off the wagon and bit and was looking to try again in the near future. Although the menu currently available online doesn't look great for vegans (at the time of posting this), the restaurant's new menu now has an excellent selection, and I plan on going back with a vegan group in the near future. Highly recommend!

Great vegan Indian options - Edit
I loved the food at MJ. The vegan options were delicious and interesting (not your standard Indian restaurant options), and there were enough of them.
