I had the vegan “original world famous burger” and vegan Mac and cheese. It totaled about $13. The vegan burger was pretty good. It had an above average patty, lettuce, pickle, cheese, a smallish bun. It would be an even better burger with a more hefty bun and tomatoes. The vegan Mac and cheese was very good, especially with the Cajun seasoning (50cents more). I appreciate the vegan option. It was good, but didn’t blow me away.

WOW blown away! New favorite vegan spot in NYC!! - Edit
Ok so I thought I couldn’t have a better vegan burger than my previous fav (Superiority Burger in LES), but wow I had the world famous combo with drumstick barbecue, and it was so good I ordered another one and got another to go! You can’t go wrong here! I brought my carnivore mom and she loved the drumsticks so much she got some to go and said they were her all time favorite! So bring me your vegan, your vegetarians, you huddles omnivores, you will all find a new favorite! They also have healthier soda, the craft beer one tastes similar to coke and you feel less guilty.

The burger seemed very fake. Quite similar to a typical McDonald's burger with the super fake bread bun etc. It was even impossible to understand flavour-wise from what the patties are made. The fries instead were good and crunchy. Very limited seating.

I am ecstatic for Marty’s! I wasn’t able to try them before they moved locations, which was a bummer considering how good the pictures made the food seem. I ordered from them online a week ago and finally got to try it. Amazing! So good I ordered it again two days later and found myself going into the shop two times within the next week. Hands down the best vegan burger spot in the city to me. Classic style sandwiches, and delicious fries too. Now they even serve the impossible AND beyond burger. They’re the only all vegan place in NYC which serves the impossible burger, and I personally dont know anywhere that even seves the beyond burger. Also the craft soda is wonderful. If you are a fan of soft drinks, give it a try. Other great menu items are the wings and the mac n cheese. I look forward to future visits so I can work my way through every dish!

Amazing Food, Amazing People - Edit
Found this place kinda randomly and omg I’m so happy I did!! The food was incredible and fresh. The burgers and chicken wings were wonderful. The customer service was great, especially considering it’s more of a “fast food” like setting. The owner (at least I think) even came over and started talking to me and my husband. He was incredibly nice and so was the rest of the staff. 10/10 would recommend. If I lived here I’d go all the time!

There are several fast casual vegan spots in NYC that are good, but you have to wait 10 minutes for your "fast" food. Marty's is not that kind of a place. They serve burgers, fries, and sides quickly and done to perfection. I had the Original combo meal - $10 for a burger, fries and a drink. The burger is a faux meat style patty... not something that usually appeals to me as I don't miss meat at all, but Marty's burgers are able to somehow mimic meat without any gross fake taste or aftertaste. The Original is kinda reminiscent of a Big Mac, with special sauce, lettuce and pickles. The fries were super crispy and pretty much perfect. Right now they have canned soda and boxed water, but there's a newly installed fountain soda machine that had a sign on it saying it'd be up and running soon. The place is tiny with limited seating, but there's a bathroom and the whole place is spotless. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Oh, and they have baked goods from Brooklyn Whiskers. I had the brownie and it was great. It's really exciting to see an independent vegan business open in this area. I'll definitely be back!

Sat down and my order was already out for me. Super fast and friendly service! I got the World Famous combo with fries and a drink for only $10 and it was delicious. It's located right by FIT so I can go between classes, which I appreciate. The crabby patty is also really good, it's all affordable and tax inclusive which is so great. Definitely bringing my friends here.

Marty's may not be fancy but it's not supposed to be. They serve great tasting fast food style burgers and a few different sides. The classic burger mimics a Big Mac. The fries are perfect, crispy and tasty. I love them. The Mac and Cheese is some of the best vegan Mac and cheese I've had.

Hole in the wall spot with the mushiest, glutenous, beige patties - $10 for a burger (slider size), 1 drumstick, and a drink (conventional soda or boxed water). My burger was actually inedible (and I'm an easy eater) - it was so gummy and bland except for bbq sauce, but I was so angry I spent $10 that I tried to salvage the dry pasty Patty with even more ketchup. I felt gross after.
