I have always had vegan! Tamale. Papusa. Avocado dressing. Fajitas. Etc

Treated nicely. Great outdoor setup if don’t want to be inside. Will talk to you and create. Oh. The plantains. Just ask for no sour cream. Black beans from scratch! #Veganuary

Pros: Communication , Creativity

Awesome food!

I eat at Maria’s with my family once or twice a week. We all love it. Pupusa’s can be made with beans, beans and veggies, and NO CHEESE. If María is there (99.9% of the time she is) she will make them up special for you. Veggie fajitas are also delicious and the Tamal elote are also amazing.

Update: María is catering an all vegan Friendsgiving for my church! Chickpea croquettes and Chile Rellenos! She is going to add these items to the menu soon! Did I mention the plantain empanadas for dessert?! Omg! So more vegan options for María’s on the way!

Pros: Tasty vegan options, Friendly staff, Very affordable

Cons: Not all staff knows what items are vegan

Not vegan! Please remove

Came in all excited to have pupusas and the lady literally told me that she couldn’t make them without cheese! I came out of my way because they say they can make them vegan but she wasn’t willing to do them. Don’t waste your time!

Cons: Not vegan
