Read moreThe food and the service is 10/10. We got the Vegan set menu which is “a bit of everything”. Delicious and “Value for money” is an understatement.
Even the design of the menu is good and it’s all colour coded for dietary requirements.

Super friendly staff, pointed the fully vegan section of the menu before even knowing we were vegan and altered one of the non vegan drinks to become vegan for me. Plates are designed to share so ends up being well priced. We got a taco, the nachos and a drink each and that was too much. The kai was well balanced and so tasty.

Sadly no seperate vegan menu. Friendly staff explained each dish but music so loud we could'nt hear. Very interesting combinations of flavours (in a good way).

We had the absolute best time here! There were lots of vegan options and we tried almost all of them! We had the tortilla chips with red and green dips which were very tasty, taquitos were delicious and possibly my favourite dish, artichoke tacos were yum, mushroom fajitas were sooooo good and the vegan cheese nachos were good but we were pretty full by then. The staff were all very friendly and we had a lovely evening!

Absolutely stuffed myself cos I wanted to try everything. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I shared a few dishes with my friend, my favourite was the crispy artichoke taco. The mushroom nachos were a bit more standard than the other dishes and a tad too salty for me but still really tasty. The dessert was also delicious.
Read moreThe ambience is very loud without any soft furnishings to absorb the din. There was also a big eruption of noise as the music got really loud, the staff sang and banged instruments and pots for a customer's birthday. It was funny after we realized what was happening, I guess it's just something they do for fun but it was very intense. I imagine it would be very unpleasant for anyone with a sound sensitivity.
Overall I loved my experience there. My non-vegan friend was also really happy with all the vegan dishes. It is a popular spot so make sure to book a table, it took us a few tries to get a spot.

Huuuge portions! Very vibey place with friendly staff. I had the vegan fajita which came out sizzling hot and hit the spot. Best to go here with company so can share the food and explore more of the options. I went early evening but got the impression it gets quite busy during peak hours so may wish to book in advance.

Read moreThey offer a very thought out seperate vegan menu which has a lovely selection of Mexican inspired dishes. They even have a fully labelled drinks menu!
The food was absolutely amazing! I was very impressed with the flavours and freshness of all the dishes we had. . . and each dish had a unique flare which made them stand out from regular Mexican dishes.
The vegans in our group had the smashed avocado guacamole, spiced kumara enchilada and the highlight of my night the bad hombre style fried mushroom fajitas which were absolutely mouth-watering! You should definitely try it! For dessert we shared a cashew cheesecake which was disappointing after such amazing mains.
The staff were the best I’ve seen in a very long time. Our server was not only friendly and genuine but was very knowledgeable of the menu items. He actually looked like he wanted to be there!
The restaurant was buzzing with people and had a lovely atmosphere.
Pros: Vegan menu - food / drinks , Fantastic, attentive, friendly staff , Delicious food

Went to Margo’s for my birthday dinner with a large group of friends. I chose them because they had a separate vegan menu while my friends enjoyed food from the main menu. There were lots of options to choose from. I ordered the kumara & walnut enchiladas which were filling, but the best was the banana blossom taco. Absolutely delicious!! Fast & friendly service. Highly recommend

The food is honestly the best vegan food I’ve tasted in queenstown. The venue is beautiful with fairy lights and candles and the staff were so friendly and amazing.
Read moreThey have a whole menu called “vegan vibes” with quite a few options. Would definitely recommend the smoked mushroom taco and the sweet potato taquitos. Everything is so fresh and all the dishes come beautifully presented and so colourful.
