We were recently in Cabo and were thrilled to find this restaurant quite close to our resort by the marina. Wonderful outdoor setting, friendly staff and the food and drinks were fantastic! Very fresh, reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Best Vegan Food in Cabo! - Edit
This hidden gem is really worth finding! We had a lovely lunch right in he heart of Cabo in a little upstairs open air restaurant. They played lovely music and the ambiance was calming and serene. It was a stark contrast to what was right outside. The quiet peaceful space allowed us time to get away from the busy Cabo scene and just relax. The food was definitely the best we have ever had in Cabo.

Tasty and unexpected - Edit
This small restaurant has many vegan options. Staff are very friendly. They will split a meal on two plates. Across two meals, we had the nachos with soy chorizo-huge serving size was enough for two meals, spaghetti, which was fresh and had nice veggies, and the big vegan burger, which was a bit odd. The bun was two huge portobello mushrooms. It was too tall to eat as a sandwich. All of the parts were delicious, but the apple slices were nicer on their own. The flavors did not all go together well.
Read moreThe drinks are the best we’ve had in Cabo.
Sadly, they are out of several ingredients so the menu is limited. Really wanted to try the mole, but they don’t have it.
Despite being so close to the road, they have made an oasis-a little garden with birds. Nice place! Highly recommend!
Pros: Delicious , Some options have protein , Excellent drinks
Cons: A few options were not available

Yummy, charming, great service - Edit
This place is a real gem. It is a 2-3 min walk way from the restaurants near the Marina. Away from all the people trying to sell you something. They have tons of Vegan dishes and vegetarian options. The staff is very kind an knowledgeable about the difference between vegan and vegetarian and confirm which you prefer for each dish. The ambience is relaxing with cool wall art, plants and small waterfalls. At night the lighting is absolutely gorgeous. They have live music on Sunday nights.
Read moreThe food was amazing I have tried several dishes as of now the BBQ burger has been my favorite. 10 out of 10. The carrot cake is yummy the cake part of it is a 9 out of 10, but the lemon cream that comes with it is 10 out of 10. The pizza with the dates was pretty good too. I have been here just about every day of my vacation, and plan to return every time I'm in Cabo
Pros: Tons of vegan options , Beautiful , Good bag for buck

Vegan and vegetarian dreams in Cabo - Edit
As a vegan in Cabo, it was dreamy to look at Mako's menu and have plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the Tacos (three different types in the one order) and the Ceviche (best to ask what the daily creation is before you order.) All the dishes and drinks had deliciously fresh flavours. We were treated to a carrot and palm heart dip with tortilla chips, which was the highlight of the experience. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere was great: we went on a Friday night and there was live music. My boyfriend, who isn’t vegetarian or vegan, enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Definitely a great place to get a tasty, healthy meal in Cabo. Their hours of operation aren't consistent across all social media platforms, so best to double check that they're open before you make your way there (we attempted to go on a Monday, but they were closed even though Google said they were open.) It can be tricky to find since it's behind the marina, but it's 100% worth it!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION WITH GREAT VEGAN FOOD! - Edit
This is such a beautiful vegetarian restaurant, the newly renovated space is serene and relaxing with fountains and plants everywhere. They even have an adorable chicken and tiny chihuahua that are the restaurants mascots. The food was totally delicious and well priced, they even have vegan cheese! Can’t wait to try their breakfast tomorrow!

Great Restaurant, must try! - Edit
This place was amazing. Great food, great people. Everything we tried was immaculate. Prepared with deep precision and understanding of flavors. Try the ceviche and empanadas for sure, and the tres leches cake for desert! You won’t regret it! They also have a very cool bird feeder with tons of little birds feeding from it- so cute!

This place is lose to the marina and it is a lovely place to sit and relax. The service was excellent and the food was really delicious. We enjoyed the tofu scramble which had such delicious seasoning and was very filling. The servers were helpful with selecting our vegan options. Delicious food in a lovely environment - Edit
Not far from the marina, we found this wonderful vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Friendly staff, a great manager, we were treated to free samples of juices and dessert. The vegan selections are clearly labelled and the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. I loved it so much that I asked to buy the t-shirt! Plant powered!

We ate here for dinner. All outdoor seating. The sunset was a nice touch. The menu has 4 burgers, some pasta, a few appetizers, a selection of pizzas, and some salads. We both had burgers. They were both very good! I had the blueberry margarita as well, it was great! I like this place.

A wonderful find with a great menu selection — from ceviche and sashimi to burgers, hot dogs and pizza — and lovely decor just around the corner from the beach. Great drinks and desserts, too. Lovely outdoor garden setting. Owner picked the mint for my mojito from the deck garden.

Worth the trip up the hill! - Edit
This place was a little hard to find for us at first. It isn't in the mall, but up a hill behind the mall. Totally worth wandering around for a half hour to find it. The hot dog (potato based?! We've never had that before!) and the bbq burgers were outstanding. The ingredients were creative and really yummy. We also got the rice pudding for dessert- don't miss that!

Seriously amazing - Edit
My partner and I have eaten here twice, so far (we'll be here a week), and it's all good. Seems like they make a different house salsa, daily, and their tortillas and chips appear to be made on-site. Friendly/kind staff, and a wonderful ambiance, with some of the best food in town, just off the marina.

Best part of our trip! - Edit
My husband and I ate here on our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. It is a well thought out vegetarian restaurant. Almost everything can be made vegan. The staff is helpful and friendly and the food is really good! It is a little Oasis in the middle of the city. It is located directly behind the store, Lux Avenue, off of the Marina. We had brunch the first time we ate here and lunch the second time. Both visits were amazing. The food was delicious and the cook and owner both took time to come over and talk to us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, not just vegetarians. It is very hardy and there are many different choices. The prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely check this place out!

Excellent vegan find in Cabo - Edit
Even though I live in BCS, I rarely end up in Cabo itself. Today I heard about Mako while I was in the area and promptly decided to try it out. Everything on the menu can be made vegan. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the owner/chef (Francesca) was happy to talk with us and, yes, her English is great. We tried the molè which was delicious. We also had the tacos, which I really enjoyed. They also served us an unexpected appetizer of vegan chorizo (NOT made with fake meat - their own creation and delicious). I will definitely eat here again and would like to go back later in the day when they start serving pizzas. In addition to the foods we tried, they have burgers, sandwiches, soups/stews, etc. I was starving when we went so my only complaint would be that I wanted a larger portion. That said, the portion sizes are probably ok if you aren't totally ravenous. They also serve a fruit-flavored water instead of regular water. Very refreshing. Oh, and the prices are super reasonable!

Lovely mexican jungle decorated style vegan place in centre of Cabo
Read moreStaff is very friendly and the owner was very helpful with all questions, she speaks very good English. Menu is simple yet, mostly vegan burgers and salad and some fruitdrinks. i was there yesterday at sunday evening and they were open till 9PM and i ordered the spicy burger which was great for 4 usd. You can pay with Dollars. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Note that the Happycow map has not been updated yet as of today , and shows a wrong direction , you will never find it there. The real location is behind the Paraiso building across the parking entrance in the backstreet. in front of the door is a sign that says MAKO, just a few minutes walking from Luxury Avenue shopping building at the harbour.
