It‘s good for what it is

There are actually two Mai Mai restaurants in the train station, one in the front, towards where the trams are, and one in the back where the carpark is and where you go to the trade centre.
I haven‘t actually eaten at the one in the back. The one in the front has five small tables and my review is for that one, although they are basically the same.

This is a very small restaurant with little space, and most customers buy takeaway. Service is usually friendly, although the atmosphere can be hectic, especially during peak times.
There are four vegan options: Rice and veggies - tofu, rice and veggies - eight mini spring rolls - fried noodles.
The fried noodles and springs rolls are the same ones you get everywhere, but I would ask about egg just to make sure.
The tofu is very soft with a crispy skin and the veggies are usually fresh. I took it without sauces, just to be on the safe side and because they did not look appealing to me. This meal is a bit expensive considering the minimal seating and general atmosphere of the restaurant, but on the other hand it is a fresh, vegan meal in a place where that is not the standard, namely the train station.

During peak times the tables can be a little dirty and some customers just leave their dirty plates there. It really is just a place to fill up if you have a bit of time before catching your train. But for that, it is quite good.

Pros: Several vegan options, Quick and friendly, Affordable

Cons: Sometimes it is not that clean , Some tables are a bit exposed (watch belongings!), Small and hectic
