You have to try their loaded sweet potato fries with bean paste and cashew Parmesan, you won’t get this anywhere else! The other options taste great too and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. You also have access to free bread and some spreads with every meal!

I had the kale seitan and it was amazing and so much food. My friends tried the soup and Caribbean curry and both were really good. There is also free bread, pesto sauce and water. Definitely recommend!

Shared two different raw cheesecakes which were very creamy, alongside an almond milk cappucino. We got take-out, but the atmosphere seemed pleasant and welcoming inthe cafe, and the staff were friendly. I hope to try some savory food next time.

Read moreI ate at this place a few times back in the day, when it was called Hälsocafet and was a vegetarian establishment. I found the food to be just all right, a little too obvious that they are all about following the latest trends. Then all of a sudden they went fully and openly vegan, and hey, I can't complain about that. Sadly they also took away the possibility of paying cash, which doesn't feel like a sign of appreciation towards their old customers. Furthermore, their website claims that "all of our food is made with plenty of love for the environment, the animals..". As they had previously were vegetarian, that sounds like revisionism to me!
All in all, Mahalo doesn't do the trick for me, and I prefer to support other places that are not capitalising on veganism being somewhat trendy.

Burger needs improvement - Edit
Mahalo is in my opinion kind of overrated. Their juices and smoothies are good but it’s not that hard to succeed with a smoothie bowl, especially not for a fully vegan place. But the burger that I had did not impress me, it tasted ok but nothing special.
