Absolutely love the concept of saving food and minimising waste. When I went there weren’t tons of vegan options but it was delicious and the guy who served us was very friendly

Read moreCame back on 15th April 2023 now it is Magic Hat. We were very impressed with how tasty the food was. Really good! We had a dumpling dish with gravy which was delicious. And a Middle Eastern dish with pomegranate seeds also lovely. Both could have been slightly warmer but were fine. Hard to cut up the pitta bread dish, a sharper / stronger knife would have been needed.

A kind of magic - Edit
Very welcoming zero waste cafe. We visited at the weekend where you pay what you feel and each got the daal. The daal was very flavoursome and well spiced, with perfectly cooked greens but the added orange just didn't belong and was not to my liking. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Tackling food waste and pay-as-you-feel at the weekends. Two vegan options, both of which were delicious. The menu changes regularly but there's always something vegan and you're making a difference! Very busy when I went on a Saturday which is good.

Great cafe, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff - Edit
We had the 4 small plates off the menu that were vegan, all were delicious. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The cafe itself is lovely with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend! And a great message too!
