A big, big love

Very cool vibes and gigantic comfy social space, with good vegan options.

We just popped in for a coffee, as we'd just eaten, but a table near us got the Moroccan avocado on toast, which looked delicous and was a very generous portion size. A lunch visit has already been planned.

Filling and tasty food

I ate twice here and enjoyed both meals. The Moroccan avocado on toast was massive and very filling, including avocado, lemon, olive oil, ras el halnout, toasted chickpeas, sunblush tomato and harissa pepper dressing. The other dish I tried was baked cauli and bombay potato hash. As it usually comes with eggs, they substituted vegan feta. Nice atmosphere and good vibes. Recommended.

Pros: Tasty vegan choices

Really nice

Good vibes here and some nice vegan options. Avo toast and coffee was really tasty. Pecan bun was a bit dry but overall really enjoyed breakfast here

Delicious

Had the huevos rancheros where they sub the egg with vegan feta (the menu says there’s a £4.50 charge for feta but this wasn’t added as it was a sub, not an addition). It was delicious, the flavours really packed a punch. Cup of tea is pretty cheap for £2.

World Leader Pretend

Nothing tiny about this place. It’s absolutely huge but still quite cosy in parts. Good coffee, open kitchen and vegan brownies. Enjoy the space

Delicious soup and coffee

I thought £11 was expensive before it arrived but afterwards I felt this was justified. Large bowl of soup, lots of toast, and a vegan lime yogurt on the side. Delicious creamy cauliflower Malaysian soup and absolutely divine coffee!

One of the places to go in Newcastle for slow coffee most definitely!

Pros: Serves slow coffee, Plenty of vegan options, Delicious
