They were more than happy to share with us what were the vegan options. The food tasted very nice. We had some dishes and the sweets after. We took three dishes each, and we could have eaten more but it was already pricy.

Great option in good company - Edit
We came here with my family for a birthday and had a really good experience. They have a worthy beer menu with explanations on each beer, and the daily menu consisted of different tapas that were either vegan or could easily be turned vegan. That includes the dessert (home made ice cream). The dishes came one by one, and each time it was a really nice discovery. Even the omnivores at our table admitted that they were pleasantly surprised and didn't miss anything at all: great!

We were here on a weekday for dinner.
Read moreThe restaurant room is spacious, and is old-style with lots of wood on the walls and high ceiling.
The tapas menu is the only option (next to that you can choose some small appetizers like olives or nuts, and desserts).
It was said to be no problem to veganize the tapas menu (see photo of menu).
The 7 courses followed swiftly. No long waits.
Some of the food combinations and flavours were a bit strange (e.g. the large pieces of red cabbage in miso or the pasnip in the dessert) and most of the dishes were cold dishes. Some more warm dishes (especially in winter time) would be nice.
Service was friendly, maybe somewhat reserved and keeping it to the strict minimum.
The restaurant room is on ground floor and is accessible. No accessible toilet.

We had a starter and the tapas (this is the only option). The dishes were all delicious, most are already vegan and the others can be made vegan easily. All but one of the beers available were local and organic. The place was very quiet on a Tuesday night in December but the owner was very friendly and informative.

Perfect family moment - Edit
We went to this restaurant to thank my family for some help they did. We were 7 people and ordered the vegan tapas menu. Though the building is with a beautiful high ceiling, the accoustic was fine for a group. All of us enjoyed the tapas very much, including my not so vegan family, and the portions were rather big.
Read moreThe service was very friendly and the cook did a fantastic job to take care of my boyfriend's complicated list of allergies. We very much loved that he got a slightly adapted menu, instead of leaving everything out.
We really felt taken care of at The Madonna and had a great lunch experience. Through this way: thank you for the efforts!
