I really enjoyed the warm service and wide variety of menu options. Our server seemed to get a little overwhelmed and we ended up waiting quite a while to order more courses and receive the courses, but we weren’t in a rush anyway. The lentil balls weren’t my favorite, but I did enjoy my pasta as well as the tempura.

We came shortly before the end of the lunch shift, but we were welcomed anyway, the guy was nice and accommodating as we just wanted to do an “aperitivo” instead of full lunch. So we got some stuff to share and everything was super good and tasty (loved especially the “Saltimbocca alla Romana).

My favorite was the mixed veg tempura- it was outstanding! The two other dishes were good but a little heavy for my taste. Overall delicious and kind staff.

I had the linguine all’amatriciana which was a beautiful tomato sauce with smoked tofu. It was absolutely delicious. For dessert I ordered the apple cake with salted caramel sauce. In the photo of this dish it showed a beautiful caramel sauce covering the cake. However when it came the sauce had been replaced with a thick paste. It tasted nice and the cake was very soft but I was disappointed not to have the sauce I was expecting. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The ambiance is nice and I would definitely go back.

Guarda, semplicemente ti hanno portato il dolce sbagliato tra i due fissi nel loro menu😄anziché quello con sopra il caramello che avevi ordinato, che è esattamente identico alla foto che hai visto sul menu (ho perso il conto delle volte in cui l'ho ordinato, quindi te lo posso assicurare😁quel caramello è una goduria per me), ti hanno portato il loro dolce con crema di vaniglia, che trovi sempre nel menu, che è più spessa ovviamente. Tutto qua😄se ci torni riordina quella col caramello, uno spettacolo!

But the food.. it was so meh, so average. It didn't taste bad it was just plain bland.

This was my favorite vegan restaurant during my visit to Rome. I loved the side street outdoor patio atmosphere. And all the very Italian and very unique dishes, like Arancini! Service was also A . A great place to go all out on a meal, with multiple courses.

Ma va is a average sized family run all vegan restaurant with way above average food! It ain’t cheap but if you want to treat yourself to great Italian gourmet grub this is a good place to choose. The fava falafels were lovely, the tempura carrots a delight and the pistachio pasta nigh on perfect! The pistachio sacher cake won the best dessert prize of the four we tried.

Locale molto accogliente a gestione familiare. Buona scelta di piatti nel menù. Sempre buona la tempura di verdure, primi piatti ben cucinati e gustosi. Siamo stati qui diverse volte, anche per San Valentino e nonostante il locale pieno il servizio è stato impeccabile e tutti era buonissimo ( come al solito) ed è un piacere cenare in un ambiente così accogliente.

I supplì molto buoni e non pesanti, chi mi accompagnava (una non vegana) prima scettica, invece le sono piaciuti.
Pasta anche buona, ma per me particolarmente interessanti i funghi impanati, croccanti, ma non gommosi, né ultrafritti. Li riprenderei decisamente.
Le verdure porzione abbondante.
La torta un po' si sbriciolava, ma il sapore era buono.
Anche se è totalmente fuorimano per me, ci tornerò, perché comunque anche senza macchina da Metro Ottaviano e una passeggiata di 15-20 minuti in linea retta.

Vengo abbastanza spesso a mangiare da Ma va, ogni volta però mi delude un po'.. la qualità dei prodotti è sicuramente ottima ma gli accostamenti di sapore non sempre rispettano i miei gusti. Il personale è davvero gentile, ma il locale potrebbe essere reso più carino.
