Delicious Bolivian food - Edit
Lupito it is a great place to fill the craves of bolivian food. They are very creative with the menu. Everything is fresh and prepared the same day. The price are reasonable for the quality and quantity. They cook with local products and also they propose some desserts and pastries.

Deli! - Edit
Lovely little restaurant offering a couple of Bolivian dishes made vegan, a burger and a range of desserts. Quick and friendly service. They also hold events.

Pros: Buen servicio, Lugar lindo, Salsas ricas
Cons: Comida fría, Porciones pequeñas, Pocas opciones

Slightly overpriced - Edit
The daily menu is set and there's only one option. For 23bs it includes a soup, main and a (super tiny) dessert, no drinks. We opted for one set menu and another side dish. Maybe we were unlucky but on that day the main was some poorly seasoned rice with peas and soya sausage, a type of meal a teenager could do. The other dish (Buddha bowl) was much better, including falafel and a salad. The place tags as a Bolivian cuisine, but there was no Bolivian dish which I was hoping for and I actually came for. On the good side, the restaurant has a very nice interior and the staff was friendly. But there are better options in La Paz for this price.

Great welcome, great food - Edit
Set in what I assume is a converted front room, the staff were incredibly welcoming and patient with my poor Spanish. You get a start, main and a little desert with a drink for under 30bob. ( About 3 quid 50). It's worth finding this spot!

Amazing place highly recommend! - Edit
Wonderful restaurant, people and the food is just amazing. They put a lot of love into the dishes and care of the people eating there. I even got a complementary desert that was super delicious. Best vegan place I've been so far in south America!

amazing Calzone with melted vegan cheese - Edit
On my first visit I had an amazing Calzone with vegetables and melted vegan cheese (20 Bs.). Still remember the taste of the cheese. My second time I had a thick delicious vegetable soup and bread with a spicy tomato sauce. As main course chicharrón based on soybeans, mote, and Chuño (small dried potatoes). As desert a coconut flan with hibiscus caramel. The menu del dia is 23 Bs. And changes daily. The main focus of Paola and Lupita, the owners, is to reduce suffering for the animals. But they also encourage to bring a hermetical box for leftovers. Great people with exemplary character.

Best vegan place! - Edit
A really nice and clean place. Lunch specials are only 23bs which is really cheap in comparison to other veg places in la paz, but the most important thing is that the quality is really good. My meat eating husband was impressed. Nice food and good portions. The lunch special includes soup, main meal and desert

delicious food! - Edit
the restaurant is tucked away in san miguel, in the zona sur (southern zone) of la paz, but is well worth a visit! it just opened in feb. 2017 and features a small but clean and bright eating area.
Read morei got my food to-go* and loved all three dishes, particularly the hot dog and the tacos. in bolivia there are no commercial vegan hot dogs or chorizo available, so they make them themselves, and they are quite tasty.
they also offer a variety of typical bolivian dishes, but veganized - such as choripan, salchipapa, anticuchos, tucumansa, rellenos, and more.
lupito has lunch specials every day, the menu changes weekly, and the prices are super reasonable, with most dishes costing around 15-25 bs. (about $2-3.50). oh and on saturdays, it seems they offer ceviche and other extra-special dishes.
we are really starting to get spoiled in la paz now with all these vegan restaurants - so so pleased lupito is around!
* they recently started a program where if you bring your own tupperware/container when ordering food to-go, they will give you an extra goodie. ;)
Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff
Cons: small location, out of the way
