My partner and I had lunch here and it was delicious. We had the Milanesa napolitana, Parillada and got the tiramisu to take away. Service was super friendly and warm. Everything was delicious and the serving sizes were very generous. The cafe is super cosy although easy to miss on the outside as it isn’t marked! Will 100% be coming back before we leave La Paz!

Usted nos escribió el día de hoy y tenemos pruebas de que quería comer gratis nuestro menú por sacar fotos y publicar en su red social, usted tiene 145 personas que la siguen en su red social, eso es tratar de aprovecharse de un restaurante, nosotros por Whatsapp le dijimos amablemente que no hacemos ese tipo de intercambios. Llegó al restaurante, le mostramos las fotos y la tratamos con cordialidad, usted nos reclamó porque en la foto de Instagram veía más cantidad de nachos que le dimos 3 y en la foto eran unos 5 le expliqué pero usted quería que le aumentemos cantidad. Nuestro menú le costó 24bs, es menos de 2.5 dólares, le parece caro y poca porción? Nos pidió 7 vasos de agua de botellón, a pesar que nosotros vendemos botellas de agua, como todos los restaurantes, nosotros le invitamos, si no le decíamos que ya no podíamos darle más agua usted hubiera llegado a 10 vasos... Usted claramente en su mensaje de WhatsApp nos dijo "A veces publico reseñas de restaurantes y por eso me ofrecen un menú" Usted quería comer gratis por una buena reseña, nosotros tenemos ética, nunca nos molestaría invitar un plato de comida, pero no compramos reseñas. Usted fue con toda la intención de encontrar algún problema, se quedó en mesa casi 1 hora y media, después de haber terminado su comida, se la veía muy cómoda, hasta se cambió de mesa después de haber comido.

The cafe is very tucked away, I didn’t notice any signage at the front and you wouldn’t even know it was there! But well worth seeking out, and it was very busy with locals - a popular spot, for good reason it turned out.
Read moreWe paid 67 bolivianos for two menus of the day and two large juices. I didn’t realise the drinks weren’t included, but for the size and quality of the juice that would be too much to expect.
Great that you could choose from two options for the main. Everything from the soup to the main dishes and dessert were super flavourful, with more care towards the presentation and temperature of the dishes than your average menu del dia.
Definitely recommend!

It’s easy to miss this place as there is no sign on the street. I suggest using Google maps. It’s well worth the trip - the meals and desserts are delicious. They also sell frozen veggie burgers and supplements to take away. The staff are delightful and it’s a great place for lunch - just a few minutes walk from the cable car station.

The menu of the day had two options. I chose the homemade burger with hand cut fries and fried plátanos. The meal also came with soup and a little dessert. All together 28 bols. The buns, pesto sauce, and the patties were homemade and great quality.

This place is tucked away but has a lovely welcoming vibe. The owner was just so friendly to everyone that walked in and it felt like a lot of locals passed through regularly, with their Tupperware to take away.

The salad was fresh and it was nice that there were lentils and quinoa with it to add some oomph. The main was a traditional Bolivian dish of noodles in a sauce with local potatoes, fried plantain and other vegetables. It was very tasty and felt fresh. Very generous portion. The dessert was an oat chocolate pot, spiced with fragrant spices like cinnamon I believe.
We also picked up some other dessert to go - they just looked so tempting. Thoroughly recommend this place if you are in La Paz.

The venue is in a very nice spot up a very steep hill. At the restaurant you have a soup, 2 options to choose from for your main dish, and a dessert. It costs 23 bolivianos (just over $3) per order. The staff here are very friendly.

They had two options when we went here for lunch: a sandwich with seitan, and salchipapas, which is basically cut sausages on top of French fries. We shared one of both and they were both delicious. The place also seems very well visited by the locals, which speaks to the quality.

Not only is the food great! But the vibe and personnel are so vibrant. It's in my top places of Bolivia. Sure, plenty of fried stuff but they balance it out.... Especially with the lunch menu. It's worth mentioning that they also provide some vegan supplements not found in other health stores.

We ate two times at Lupito and were very satisfied with all the dishes we had. The prices are very fair, especially from Mo to Fr when they offer a whole menu for less than 30 Bs. Also, the staff is very friendly and explains you all the dishes in detail.
