Amazing treats - Edit
I love the food here. No odd flavors from vegan substitutes, and my omnivore family prefers to come to LuLu's over the "normal" bakeries in town. I only complaint is I wish they stayed open later.

Everything was delicious, though most pastries were sold out, since we found Lulu's on Happy Cow after Sunday morning spent at Children's museum of Memphis, during recent trip to the city. My granddaughter adored the cake pops, so we got one of each color & she declared them "excellent!" Vegan cake pops that I didn't have to make myself for the win!

They were out of Focaccia, which usually serves as a base for the well seasoned, savory mushroom melt, shredded oyster mushrooms with greens in a creamy cashew cheese sauce. It was good between slices of whole wheat toast. Still, looking forward to returning for the Focaccia experience, and trying the made to order breakfast sandwiches

Great stop near MEM airport - Edit
Picked up some lunch/dinner pre-flight, and was very pleased. Mushroom melt was tasty, though a bit more salted than my taste. The maple pecan bar and chai latte were nice treats, too.

Been coming to Lulus almost every weekend since it’s opened and it never disappoints! The breakfast Sando is always great with different seasonal toppings. Has seasonal coffee drinks and some delicious cold brew. They have some of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Can’t go wrong with the scones, cookies, or cinnamon buns. ALL VEGAN BABY

One of the Best Vegan Bakeries/cafes in the nation - Edit
We were in Memphis for a just a few days but after trying Lulu's breakfast sandwich, which is entirely homemade and health-supporting (none of the highly processed fake meats or cheeses) and wonderfully delicious, I knew we had to stop there every day we were in Memphis. The Mushroom Melt, was also fantastic with homemade whole wheat bread, mushrooms, and sautéed Kale.
Read moreThe pastries were also excellent. My favorite was the cinnamon coffee cake. My husband was head over heels for the fudge chocolate brownie. We also took two salads with us for the road and they were also wonderful.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this bakery!! The entire menu is vegan, fresh, delicious, and made with love. They have a large variety to choose from and are constantly creating new recipes. They also incorporate a lot of seasonal produce in unique and creative ways. One of my favorites is the Sando breakfast sandwich... it's different every time and is always amazing! I also love the scones, pastries, cookies and pies. Seriously you can't go wrong with this one.. everything is great!
Read moreEveryone who works there is super nice and friendly too!! They always make you feel welcome. They're passionate about their menu and are happy to answer any questions you might have. The owners are usually there too but you may not notice simply because the entire team is like a family that works and grows together.
The atmosphere is welcoming, bright and clean. It's great to grab a quick breakfast on the go. But it's even better to stay and sit a while, enjoying coffee, great food and good company.
Their hours are limited right now so be sure to check before you go. Lulu's can also create custom cakes and whatever else you might like for a party or event.

Best Full Vegan Joint in the City - Edit
It's a shame they close so early or I'd be there more often. I have yet to sample any menu item I would not happily order again. Their Golden Milk and coffee cake are especially great. Scones too. The prices initially seem high until you know they don't allow tipping. I love the business model more than I love the menu items, but both are GREAT! #Veganuary

Tomato Soup and Chai Tea - Edit
Yep I’m the person that eats soup and drinks hot tea in the summer lol. It’s freezing inside where I work. Anywho, this is where you go if you want fresh locally sourced ingredients! The tomato soup had fresh chunks of tomato and was seasoned to perfection and came with fresh baked sourdough. The chai latte tastes better than anything I’ve ever had to finagle at Starbucks to make it vegan. Lulu’s is so awesome to have in the city. I stop here and know I’m getting clean food that going to be great. I’ve also had good desserts. And the service is good as well.

It’s so so nice to have a vegan bakery in Memphis! I love being able to pop in and grab a muffin or scone somewhere as a vegan. Sometimes that’s just what you want! Lulus never disappoints, literally everything I’ve had here is good!!!

Not great for vegan, just great! I’ve had the Chocolate Espresso cake, it may just be the best chocolate cake ever made. I have fed the blueberry lemon scones to several non-vegans and they didn’t know until they were told. The Sando, breakfast sandwich is yummy and I actually made it all the way to a late lunch without feeling hungry after eating it at 8am. Any food before 10a usually means I eat all day. Persimmon Seed cookies are delicious, first bite I was not sure, but the more I ate the better it got. The bagels are nice and chewy just like a bagel should be and I love their fresh made cashew cream cheese. After having their fares at several popup dinners and the farmers market, I have anxiously awaited their brick and mortar. I never dreamed it would land right in the path of my route to work! I am a huge fan…if you couldn’t tell. LOL, Claire

Great breads and creative vegan meat for our “sausage” biscuits. We also had a delicious blueberry scone that was, of course sans butter, but who would have guessed.
