Many options, tasty, big portions - Edit
The restaurant is located in the middle of the night market in a quiet side street. Everything looks clean. The menu is illustrated. Staff can speak enough English. The portions cost about 40-60k and are correspondingly large. I have eaten here several times. Highly recommended.

Vegan Chay Food - Edit
The restaurant isn’t super easy to find as “Loving Hut” isn’t written on the outside, it’s next to the No.1 Acoustic House bar. Finally got round to trying this chain of vegan restaurant in Vietnam... sadly 70% of the menu had been crossed out or wasn’t available. Had a tasty Pho and Fried Vermicelli noodles with veg which came to 35K each.

Decent food in the Night Market - Edit
Prices are mid-range and the service was just ok. The condiment selection is limited compared to other local eateries and no tissues are complimentary. The banana flower salad was delicious!

Amazing meal and location - Edit
Had an incredible vegan Pho here on my travels. The restaurant is nestled within the night market so makes for a lovely evening wondering around afterwards. Staff were very friendly, super cheap prices and great food. Must try the coconut ice cream too! To die for!

Might be because I had not eaten in 6/7 hours? Might be because of a long day being under the sun? Or it simply could be because of their delicious food! Either way this restaurant is a must if you visit Cho Dam (Phu Quoc night market).
Read moreI ordered some rice noodles with tofu and wow, that’s good.
Great that it is close to the Cho Dam (Phu Quoc night market)!
Second visit: everything still good, however, they gave me everything within 5 min, and the main course first. Makes me suspect as if the food is prepared before and only heated. However, I still recommend visiting this place. Their food is superior.
Pros: Lots of vegan options., Very central., Great verity of alternatives.
Cons: Furthest in the back of the market., Food might be prepared before visit.

Vegan - Edit
Good service and good food. The only place I found vegan pho. The rice rolls were too chewy and I couldn't finish them but everything else was amazing.

Veganer in Duong Dong - Edit

Friendly service and ok food - Edit
I always enjoy finding Loving Hut restaurants on my travels. It’s usually a safe bet for some decent and affordable vegan food. Stopped in for lunch and the place was empty. Owner was friendly but they seemed to be out of a lot of dishes. Food was ok and portions were on the small side. Tried the satay bread, fried tofu and a noodle soup (the only soup they had available that day). Overall it was a decent meal for a decent price but wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

The Incredible Shrinking Menu - Edit
Welcomed by warm service and lovely smiles, the first night I had the banana flower salad and another dish - both very good. But later that night, when the meal's aftertaste stubbornly persisted, I realized my big mistake. Accustomed to eateries that only served allium-free meals, I'd forgotten to request no garlic or onion.
Read moreWhen I returned the next night and asked which dishes could be prepared without garlic or onion, the menu that previously was overwhelming suddenly shrunk to underwhelming. That night's meal was less impressive, but still quite good. On the third trip I fancied a noodle soup, but was told none was available without onion or garlic. At that point I was forced to ask myself: why pay premium prices for dishes that seemed to be unalterable (i.e., perhaps not freshly prepared)?
Reluctantly, I accepted that it was time to look elsewhere.

Decent - Edit
The food is pretty nice, lots of options and pretty good prices. Staff are friendly and polite but English is slightly limited. Uses lots of mock meat which isn’t the best mock meat I’ve had in Asia, could be better and would be nicer with extra veg. Otherwise the flavour of things is nice

The food was okay, nothing too special but not bad. It was a little bland, the Thai fried rice was tasty tho. Friendly staff and convenient location inside the night market. Ice cream was pretty tasty. The food came extremely quickly but not everything together.
