Das Loving Hut ist ein nettes kleines Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal in Hamburg St. Georg.Es ist dort zu Fuß gut erreichbar und bietet eine komplett vegane Speisekarte mit reichlich Auswahl. Leider sind die Portionen dafür recht klein und im Gesamtverhältnis dann auch zu teuer. Denn geschmacklich war es bestenfalls in Ordnung. Die Frühlingsrollen, "der Fleischersatz" und auch die Saucen waren nicht selbstgemacht und stammen aus industrieller Herstellung.

Cons: Relativ teuer und kleine Portionen, Geschmacklich bestenfalls ok, Frühlingsrollen / "Fleischersatz" auf Imbissniveau

Read moreDas Essen war soweit ganz gut, es war sehr schön angerichtet und hat einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Die Gewürze fanden wir beide „ok“ - ich denke das ist Geschmackssache. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir wohl eher andere Gerichte auswählen. Die Torte und die Limonade waren sehr lecker.

Cons: Man hat sich nicht willkommen gefühlt , Portionen könnten größer sein

Loving Hut is always a bit of a surprise. It says it's a chain, but you don't actually know what it will be like. Loving Hut restaurants don't all have the same menu or the same quality. However, this is a nice one! I came there on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by their extensive and affordable lunch menu! The food was very good! Bonus: it's in walking distance from the central station.

This restaurant was ideal for us: close by, not too expensive and a lot of options. The food was great as well and the atmosphere and staff were nice. The entrance is a bit hidden but it's really pleasant inside.

I always eat "tofu in tomato sauce" first, with courgette, broccoli and dill. The menu says it with peas instead of broccoli, but I get my special every time! This dish is so delicious that I would eat it every day if I could! The tomato sauce is a dream! And the dill! The tofu, and the vegetables! Unfortunately, I don't live just around the corner.
Read moreI usually eat a second portion afterwards - the same dish again. And that's despite the fact that there are many other delicious things. The price-performance ratio is very fair - I simply have a good appetite.
Today I tried something new and took a salad with me (the one with lime juice, the first on the evening menu). Just eaten it. Oh my god! Why didn't I take a second one?
The family that runs this restaurant couldn't be more friendly and delightful.
Please try and find this gem of a restaurant. You could easily miss it because it is somewhat inconspicuous in a small side street.

I eat there here once in a while as it is close to my university. The menu is quite diverse, decently priced (especially the student discounted lunch menus) and overall very satisfying. Portions look (!) small, but are always just enough to satisfy.
