Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was great. Fresh, tasty and creative Asian dishes. I ate the tofu skin and it tasted like the one I had in China. The desserts offered were OK, but nothing extraordinary though.

Best loving hut I've tried - Edit
I've been to many loving huts, maybe 7 or so total, in North America, Europe, and Asia, and I was most impressed by this restaurant. The food was delicious with fresh salads, and the price was very low for the quality and portion size. I would eat here all the time if I lived in Hamburg. I took the servers recommendation and ordered the fried tofu skins... loved it. The service was super friendly, and the food ready in like 5 minutes which was great cause I had a train to catch.

Die Auswahl ist sehr groß. Ich bin sehr häufig hier essen. Besonders die Sommerrollen haben mich süchtig gemacht; diese sind wirklich ganz große Klasse. Ich wünsche mir jedoch noch ein Gericht, welches nicht mit Fleischersatz zubereitet wird, als Alternative. Man muss Seitan & Co. schon sehr mögen, um hier zufrieden zu werden. Mittags gibt es einen sehr günstigen Mittagstisch für 6,90€ - Suppe oder Frühlingsrollen mit einem Hauptgericht. Studenten zahlen sogar nur 5,90€. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man hat den Eindruck dass sie ihre Arbeit wirklich mögen.

Good Asian food in city center - Edit
I visited this place lunch and had ordered for Thai red curry. It comes along with small portion of spring rolls. Can't compain about the food as it was freshly prepared and prices are reasonable keeping in mind that it is pretty much in city center, a short walk from the central station. I guess the owner is by herself managing everything and her German skills are just adequate to place the order. I asked if she can suggest me a dish with Seitan and Thai curry, she insisted to select something from the menu. If you are in city and wanting to have good asian food, then visit this place.

This is a typical Loving Hut restaurant with a wide range of really good Asian dishes with mock meats. However, their menu doesn't have the additional local dishes that some Loving Hut restaurants sometimes have, at least not on the lunch menu. Instead, you get lunch for a really fair price with a starter included (soup or spring rolls). The place was really nice and quiet and there were only a few other guests there. Maybe because we came on a weekday in July and it seemed to be an area with mostly office buildings. The service was quick and efficient. I would recommend most Loving Hut restaurants that I've been to and this one is no exception!

Wir haben hier die wantan Suppe und Currys gegessen, sehr gut gewürzt und lecker, allerdings würde ich beim nächsten mal die nachgemachten Shrimps weg lassen und lieber mehr Gemüse genießen . Der frische Tee und die selbst zubereitete Limonade wurden auch extra mit unserem Wünsch zuckerlos zubereitet. Sehr freundlich und angenehm, gerne wieder.

We've been to a few Loving Huts across Europe, and this one was really nice with a great choice of Asian food on the menu. I had the wan tan dumpling soup to start and a tofu noodle dish for a main, both of which were delicious. The portions were quite substantial, so it is also good value. The interior is similar to other LHs we have been to - clean, bright, functional, not particularly stylish or fancy, with a vegan message playing on a loop on TV. But as long as I can get well priced delicious vegan food, I'm happy! The desserts looked delicious, but I was too full to try one!

I've been to many Loving Huts in various cities of Europe, and they are not all the same, but this one is nice. There is an English menu and the server was very friendly.
Read moreThe dish I had, vegan shrimp with rice and an orange sauce, turned out to be overly sweet (and oily, as the shrimp was breaded and fried - not mentioned in the menu description), but I maybe should have anticipated that and ordered something different.
Overall, a nice solid vegan option where other options seem to be scarce in this part of town.

The food is really good and there are plenty of choices of different kinds of soy protein, tofu and even "fish" dishes.
The best part was the dessert: a perfect chocolate layer cake, delicious!

war heute da..habe extra gefragt ob die Saucen selbst gemacht sind..die Auskunft war ja..was dann kam war die typische susssauer sauce aus dem asia Markt für 1.98..das ist nichts was ich in einem Restaurant erwarte..fehlende oder nur rudimentär vorhandene Deutschkenntnisse erschweren die Kommunikation..alles in allem nicht empfehlenswert..
