Loving Hut

The atmosphere isn't all that cozy in my opinion. The TV is on and the register constantly made noises. But the food was cheap, close to centrum and it tasted really nice. Especially the bananasplit and nut balls for dessert was AMAZING! Their mock meat was very convincing, almost to good to be true.

The restaurant is located in a popular area in central Hamburg.
The food is really good and portions are big!
We tried the chocolate layer-cake for dessert and it was just perfect, so fluffy and tasty!
The only negative point is that they don't even have one Germand traditional dish as some Loving Hut restaurants sometimes do...but you can choose from different Frtiz Cola to drink ;-)

I really enjoyed eating at this wonderful place where the food is super tasty, the menu is very attractive and the staff is friendly. The location is not bad at all. The place is not super well decorated but during summer it was nice to enjoy the little terrace. And I really love the concept of only Vietnamese vegan food!

I dont usually eat mock meats but everything we ordered was just so delicious and flavourful. We were really amazed at how authentic the "meat" seemed, it doesnt compare to anything you find at the supermarket. It isn't exactly health food but for a treat it certainly is amazing!

Loving Hut really knows how to produce and cook meat replacements. The "vietnamese lemonade" was great too.
Very fast too, accordinlgy high number of local regular guests.
The also sell their meat replacements, with advice on how to prepare & spice it.

On a quick visit to Hamburg, I had incredibly delicious food here. The menu was HUGE and it was hard to choose, but I settled with a "shashlik" (a kind of grilled skewer dish, I just loooove mock meat). taste: great. portions size: abundant. price: justifiable.
Prices for drinks were a little high, in my opinion, but food+drink was totally fine in the end.
Service wasn't outstanding, but attentive enough. Atmosphere could have been a little nicer.
altogether, I'd totally recommend this place and might visit again next time I'm in Hamburg :)

I went there with a non-vegan friend and we both enjoyed it a lot. They offer a wide range of different dishes so it was hard to decide for one!
The food was super delicious and definitely worth the price which I didn't think was high actually. I would definitely go there again!

Lots to commend this for - but beware the water issue. They have still water that is carbonated! Couldn't easily get to the bottom of it.

Good range of dishes - worth a visit

I wish we had something similat in zurich! All the dishes are wonderful! I personally don't like tofu too much. But they even made the tofu work. Super yummi asian food. And the staff was so nice! Cafe was full of locals.

Huge variety of vegan Asian foods to choose from. All are very tasty. For desert the chocolate cake and the fried banana are amazing. This Loving Hut is fairly close to the Reeperbahn and the Wallanlagen. If you visit the area, I'd recommend paying the Loving Hut restaurant a visit.

I was so overwhelmed by the amazing, asian vegan dishes! Basically anything you order tastes good :) Very well priced, extremely tasty food, cozy relaxing atmospthere and very polite waiter.

Mitten in der Innenstadt gelegen ist das Loving Hut sowohl was Preis und Qualität als auch Frische und Geschmack angeht ein echtes veganes Spitzenlokal.
Es ist jeden einzelnen Besuch wert. Da es keinen Alkohol gibt, muß man das Anderswo nachholen. Aufgrund des tollen Essens tut das dem Ganzen aber keinen Abbruch. Hingehen, ausprobieren, wiederkommen.

It really doesn't matter what you take from the menu: It's all tasty. As a semi-vegetarian I would say nearly everything offered taste close to the original with meat.

Wide range of offers, served very quickly, very cheap. And I like the friendly interior as well.

EC-Card and Credit card payment possible meanwhile.

The only negative thing I can say. The staff could be a little bit more friendly; it apears as if they are always stressed.

I ate at a lot restaurants of this chain. This one is the best of them. The dishes are freshly made and very good tasting. It's very centred on faux meat, but has a lot of other good options. The fresh Vietnamese lemonade is the bummer!
The staff is always friendly.
The Supreme master television is muted and doesn't disturb.

Go there for nice Asian food!

If you are looking for good food at reasonable prices, Loving Hut is a good choice. The dishes we tried were tasty, but the menu relies heavily on fake meat and soy sea food, which I am not the biggest fan of. This is, however, just my personal taste.

This place has very friendly staff, is very clean and is very well located.
We got the Lunch offer for 6.90 euros which included a main and a soup or springroll as a starter. The soup was particularly good.
They have outside seating here.

We had a very good meal here, my daughter loved the fake meat a lot. There was a TV screen, you could see Master Ching Hai cooking but that was fine as the sound was off. It is a very good place and really not expensive. It should be indicated "inexpensive".

Went here during a trade fair idiot in town. The place was well crowded but service was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and fresh. Being a Thai curry junkie I had nothing left to wish for. Warmly recommended vegan food place :)

The food was nice. - Most dishes involve soy fake meet, very few seitan. - The service was not good and it was very crowded at 6 on a Saturday (and a person was put on my table, which was no problem but they did not even ask).
I have been to many Loving Huts around the world before and has some expectations, so I would say, this place is for people who like Vietnamese food and want to try it vegan. For vegans with expectation is maybe not the place to be.
For me it was good that it was here so I could get a meal but I would not make an effort to come again.

Loving Hut is a great place for vegan food, esp. if you like vietnamese dishes. They taste amazing, the owners are extremely friendly and will try to squeeze you in if at all possible, although you really need to reserve a table in advance here on a saturday afternoon. The restaurant is pretty small and obviously popular, with good reason. Not just the food is vegan, but the whole place emphasizes their eco-friendly way to run the business. The only possible complaint I could conjure up would be that nearly every dish contains either tofu, soja or saitan. If you, like me, are not a huge fan of fake meat, you might have to look a little harder. But that should stop nobody, since the menu is long and entirely vegan, full of amazing meals. Even vegan cake or ice cream for desert. The prices are average and totally appropriate.

They serve a quite big variety of dishes.
We had vegan seafood and it tasted SO like normal seafood, it was unbelievable.
The food was fresh and the portions were big enough.

For me, it was a little bit annoying that there would run the TV nonstop, showing how supreme master Chin Hai prepares food.

On my last visit to Hamburg I ate here several times, on my own, and with friends or family.
I loved everything I ate there and so did my non veg friends.
The lunch menu is a very good value.
Desserts were very nice, especially the fried banana with coconut ice cream, delicious.
The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, it is situated in a part of Hamburg that is very inviting for a stroll after lunch. Great value for money.

Excellent food. Went for lunch 2 days in a row. Chose spicy options (bamboo/lemongrass) which just hit the jackpot. Cost 6.9 euros. Came with a small entree (could chose between soup and spring rolls) and rice. Seemed very popular. Service quick. Food arrived steaming hot (entree soup was warm). Would certainly go there again if we lived here.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Good, wholesome food in the most pleasant of environments, extensive menu with no fear of animal products. Tasty, nourishing and plentiful dishes, with something for everyone to be sure.
A nice touch were the small, fire-red whole peppers served with the warning of 'very, very hot', which they were.
Just the home-away-from-home no-nonsense cooking you wish you could find everywhere.
And the English menu was a bonus.

Mycket good o bra vegan resturang centralt i Hamburg Trevligt folk och god mat. Man kan bara bli så nöjd

Went here yesterday with 2 non-vegetarians. The food was very good - one of my non-veg friends enjoyed the soy-"meat" so much hat he said hat he could imagine eating this much more often :-) :-)
The athmosphere is nice as well and the personnel very friendly.

Rien que pour le seitan fait maison, je conseille vivement de faire une halte...
D'abord pour la philosophie Loving Hut, la douceur et la gentillesse du personnel, ensuite pour la qualité des plats, et les saveurs que nous n'avons pas la chance de connaître en France, en ce qui concerne la cuisine végan...
Cadre agréable sans plus, on n'y prête pas vraiment attention, ce qui compte, c'est lae plaisir gustatif, et là, c'est parfait...
à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte !!!

It was a nice, tasty and filling meal. Good asian food completely vegan.

Just find it in this App and try out at our Journey to Hamburg. It is very nice for vegan People and also for non vegan. Their is a large Range to choose and it taste very good. Also The Price is okay. Of you are in Hamburg, you have to try!

Asian food is not among my favorites, and I'm not a spiritual person, so you can guess I was skeptical about an Asian restaurant that belongs to admirers of a "Supreme Master". After I ate there, I was not skeptical anymore, and I even went out having a special "feel good" feeling. I prefer to relate it to the food though, and not to the Supreme Master.

The food is good, the owners are nice, the prices are fair, and bathroom even has personal towels, like someone already mentiones here, and the location is near the St. Pauli stadium, so you can watch a game and then come to eat. Above all, you simply feel good in this place, and this feeling follows you for the whole day.

This is perfect for a quick, cheap tasty vegan lunch.

I have not been for dinner yet, but the lunch menu was full of choice and the price is low!

This place is great! The food is really good, staff is friendly and the price is very good. I would especially recommend the baked banana w/ icescream desert!

Overall a great restaurant. Has a large menu including Vietnamese specialities. Large portions with really tasty food, you won't leave hungry. Try the seitan! On the minus side: the staff wasn't very good at english, and some of the courses was unavailable at our visit, but that might have just been bad luck.

Chinese / Asian restaurants in Germany tend to be of very poor quality, with almost no fresh ingredients at all. But this little gem offers all the classics (the spicy soups, the spring rolls, the main courses with fried rice) but all include fresh al dente vegetables and no meat at all. Also set lunch for just seven Euros, great vegan cake for just one Euro and the most amazing homemade lemonade with fresh limes! This vegan eatery has fresh flowers on every table, soft music, and even individual hand towels in the toilets!!!!
I will definately come again!

The food was great. The soy meat tasted fantastic. When you eat here and you dont like your fod hot, you should better be careful- because hot MEANS hot.

My girlfriend had the vietnam salad, which i tried. It was awesome as well.

There is another big plus: No flavour enhancers are used.

Well, the ambiance wasnt that great, i didnt like the furniture. The service wasnt not very professional, but o.k..

but as i said: the food was great- so its five cows!

This is not your typical Loving Hut place. It's more like a traditional vegan Asian restaurant. I have been there several times and the food has always been great!
