Loving it!

If you can, definitely visit. In the commercial yet slightly more posh side of Addis, this restaurant looks small and simple. The food, however, does not let anyone down. I went for the Ethiopian dishes, but the Western ones all looked amazing as well. Slightly pricier than other venues, but still cheap to most tourists, I'd suggest you stick to the savory menu. Their desserts don't really go along with the other dishes in terms of quality.

Pros: Delicious, Huge menu, Traditional and Western options

Cons: Attendants speak broken English

Great Food (but not perfect)

I liked the food. I only had the Firfir and a banana shake, which were both really tasty.

The staff were fine, but not overly friendly. There were quite a few things not available (including any of the cakes) on the menu on the Saturday afternoon I was there.

You can get food delivered (via DeliverAddis).

It's the only vegan place in the city so still top marks from me.

Pros: Tasty food, Nice inside

Cons: Cake wasn't available (hopefully just a blip)

Great food

To be clear, we only ordered food from the Deliver Addis app. Restaurants were not permitting "dine in" when we were there in December.

The food portions were good size, and the food was delicious. We got a cake, 2 main dishes, and an appetizer. We liked all of it.

Unfortunately, it was pretty far from our hotel, and the Deliver Addis app added a pretty big delivery fee, so we only ordered once. I would definitely eat there again, but we didn't because of this fee.

The food was really good though.

Pros: All vegan

Oasis in Addis

So excited to find something other than shiro, pasta or pizza that I can eat on non-fasting days. And it was good!

Pros: Large menu, Flavors that aren’t available elsewhere in Addis, Cake!

Nice place.

Until now (November 2018) this is the only vegan place in Addis as far as I know but vegan food is easy to find in the city due to many people's habit to "fast" (to not eat animal products) twice per week and two plus one months per year.
You can eat inside the restaurant or outside.
The menu is divided in several parts : Asian / "Chinese" food, Ethiopian food, Western and Middle Eastern fast food (burgers, falafel sandwich, etc.). Plus drinks and some desserts. If you go at the counter, you'll see that they have a larger choice of cake than on the menu and they also now have satay (Indonesian meal). Mock fish, mock meat, spaghetti, firfir, beyaynet, tofu, tegabino shiro, you name it.
I got some fried tofu with season vegetables (cabbage, long beans, etc.) with rice and a sauce and plenty of bread plus a chocolate cake. As I was eating Ethiopian every day, I wanted to have a different meal, I missed rice. The main dish itself was just fine, nothing special, lacking of real Chinese cuisine taste but it's not surprising, I'm in Ethiopia after all. The cake was great, and big. I suspect it contained banana as well, very nice. They also serve coffee cake and at least another sort.
They have various drinks made of fresh fruits, sodas and also teas and coffee. I got a ginger tea, was disappointed to get a tea bag in stead of fresh ginger. the tea wasn't really good a must tell and had no taste of ginger, was closer to almond and I dislike almond drinks a lot...

Pros: Large choice, Big portions, Friendly staff

Cons: Tea bags instead of fresh teas (at least for some), Could improve the taste of Asian food

Tasty food

Indeed a small venue with not too much parking space when we were there around lunch time, but unless you're with your own car like us it doesn't matter ofcourse.

For 12 euros we had 3 filling main dishes, a side dish, 2 coca cola's and a carrot juice, extra charge for take away boxes (I believe Birr.4,- per box so not much at all).

We enjoyed, the rice was soft and tasty as well as the cabbage and the fake meat. My boyfriend enjoyed the American vegan hamburger with fries.

The carrot juice was fresh and so delicious.
Very sweet staff.
Did not try the desserts.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty

Cons: Not alot of parking space(if with your own car)

Good Mix of Food, Good Service

There is a mix of Ethiopian and non-Ethiopian dishes. They have some vegetarian versions of Ethiopian meat dishes, like the tibs, but they also have some interesting Ethiopian vegetarian dishes not as commonly found (like the sunflower seed milk dish). They have a few Asian and Western dishes as well. The quality of their Ethiopian dishes is a little higher than the non-Ethiopian dishes. You can sit indoors or outdoors (though it's kind of noisy outdoors),

Pros: Good food, Good service, Decent variety

Cons: Somewhat noisy at outdoor seating, Can get busy/crowded
